I triple checked my bike, no harm done. But I wonder now if the engine is not making a weird sound. Nothing to do with the incident, I think I'm just bounding too much with it, now I'm over protective and worry for nothing..

so thinking if i should go down UM to install or go motorworld

the previous guy installed on his bike for 2mths+ then took it out liao(cos he sold his bike)

i think quite cheap below $10 or $10+ ba, last time i wanted to dup a special key, find until bukit timah, the uncle got super lots of key, just go there dup if u can't anywhere else. if he can't dup, i dont think any other place can, might need to go some specialized shop.

 

quite recently i talked to a friend, he said his s4 key cannot dup, cos got 1 chip inside. 1 key cost $100+

 

gennosukes made 2 bucks only leh.. u make 10bucks.. i think it depends on where you go as well.. i only have 1 key thats why need to make backup..

btw we can change the key holder right? the black part.. looks like some cupboard key.. hehe i will try to see can change not..

O'ren : You're prolly right, sounds like a 50-50 case to me. Firstly, please do file a report at IDAC and fill out the form. Make sure the sketch and incident description is as clear as you can get. Then go http://www.income.com.sg/forms/claims/Motor-PteSettle.pdf , take a look at that form and either use it or make your own version. The NTUC one can be used even if you're not from NTUC, it's a legal document anyway. One copy for each party. Most importantly though, you're unharmed!

umm, i dont know how special our key is, that time i went to make is a very special key, that uncle at bukit timah also dont have, so i gave up. if it's only 2 buck, then it's a very common piece of metal.

 

if u go dup a key, u wont have any holder, u can put any holder as long it fits. even the original holder can be pry out n put ur fav 1 if u like.

someone asked about the tail led light of ug3, i pass by um earlier, $48, without install. ug 1/2 cannot put this type of light as the wiring totally diff (what i was told) but i suppose if u really want, still can be done, but then u got to chg the 2piece back-side cover, again if the mounting is at correct place is another problem.
