anyone bought the knox jacket and pants?

how good is it at keep you dry?

my current pants like got problem

just now rode in heavy rain when i took it off my inside thigh there wet

like i just pee-ed in my jeans

For rain armor, I did posted my review previously and feed back to them

 

Now I'm using RS Taichi like old days ... when comes to super heavy rain .. none beats RS Taichi rain coat price tag $140 ... worth the money spent

 

Bought it bigger size to over coat my RS Taichi mesh jacketprice tag $140 too .. heheheh

 

Now trying to save money to invest on the RS Taichi water proofing riding pants .. price tag around $280 +

 

My rain armor I let my nephew use it.

 

For your case, maybe you can try to apply silicone on the inner side along the joint... same method apply to our seat wrap were there are joint designs made for the seat wrap ... my 2 cents only .... and funny why I did not think of that too ... hehehe wil try whae I'm free and will review the results hopefully ... hahah:cheeky:

THE RETURN OF THE GABAN TO K. TERENGGANU....journey of the musafir(wayferer)

 

no of bikes from Singapore to location: 1

no of bikes gathered there on day 2 : more than 1 (bikers from Kuala Lumpur and Kuantan and even Terengganu bikers)

total distance covered coming and return: more than 1000km

total time traveled: 20hrs

Average speed:85-100km/h

 

My first trip on Feb 2010 was a bummer cos my bike broke down over there and had to be towed back to SG for overhaul. no, there are no pulsar parts in Malaysia. Eventhough the road condition isnt better than SG, however, its a good opportunity to train myself for further long trips ahead.

not true!!!!!! i reached a better fc with the smaller rear sprockets!!

if u are able to reach 80km/hr (which i travel at) with rpm around 5.5k as compared with stock sprockets at 7K rpm, which one save fuel over long time?? haha. even my dad say change liao will safe fuel.. haha. cos lower rpm less oil input while cruising. jus dun have excessive acceleration and ur fc will be great!

 

HVC: IRC roadwinner im using now. ok lah. this morning the rain my IRC roadwinner is able to stick to the ground while on PIE and nicholl highway. haha. less skidding already after changing it out of MRF.

 

Intersting observation about drivers/ road users:

every morning i will turn into nicholl from PIE sims ave exit. and the traffic is supposed to be smooth everyday can easily do 70 on nicholl. but today turn into the road just before the ERP, traffic super heavy i thought what happen sial. actually is the opposite road (which is empty) got some police car and 2 cars (maybe accident or what). den so stupid la. everyone slow down to see show. walao. becos i went thru the Gantry late by 2minutes, i had to pay 75c instead of 25c!! LOL

yes you can change the headlight

my personal opinion for UG3 and above i think with S4 headlight is not very nice cos of the design and shape of the digital speedo

welcome to SBT. yes u can change to ur round light like S4 thingy though i duno where to get it. but u have to consider the rewiring and changing ur digital meter to analog if ur using UG3.

welcome to SBT. yes u can change to ur round light like S4 thingy though i duno where to get it. but u have to consider the rewiring and changing ur digital meter to analog if ur using UG3.

 

should be easy to change to S4 headlight as own HS1 bulb and H4 blub is the same, only low power. But have to think where to put the brackets

you can change any type of headlights as long as u know how to diy your own brackets to fix e headlight. previously I was using alien headlight but end up still prefer the stock design.
