Protec V2 left with 9 Power & Iridium CR9IEX

Stock carb with mj 115 pj stock

Sinnob sprocket gears 15:39T

 

I removed my Reaktor and Andrion 5A since I can't achieved my 110@8k/rpm. I believed my reactor burnt out since there is a burnt mark on the surface... and reason too my Andrion 5A can't stabilize @7k/rpm ( from 6 jumps to 8 ) and threshold at 100@8k/rpm.

 

For Andrion 5A what I read is very sensitive with plug gap to achieve it's optimal ...

anyone know where to get spark plug gap measurement guage? .. I went to AB and they said huh what is that? aiyo!!!! .. explain to them and they said no don't have ...

I will change back after my next top up fuel and will see again if there's a changes .. hmm but my rear tyre too now almost 'botak' already ...

bro, imo plug gap tis issue we hav no control one its engine designing issue.... dun use any plug size it may lead to misfire or premature firing....

Btw .. you need to check the position of the 9 power coil booster ... you fixed mine opposite direction .. the arrow indicator must be pointed towards the spark plug... this info I get on Prides online...

 

i m aware of e polarity, but sometime i may hav over looked it. so sorry bro.

those wif spark boosters pls chk ur polarity again, if wrong position pls let me know i redo for u.....

 

Feel much power especially when climbing slopes after I changed the direction and shorten the cable length ....

 

Sinnob you need to try and feel for yourself ... it truely thus feels comfortable .... all the 4 poits claims .. I give 4 :thumb::thumb:

 

Rpm imho it varies on different bikes, different handling styles and loads ... we need to RIDE in line to observe the difference .... as the digital is just an indicator... how perfect we don't know unless we opt for Dyno heheheh .. just my 2 cents

 

btw.. your PE28 on hands is which model .... thai ori, daytona ori, japan ori or sudco ori ... just curious only heheheh

 

my PE28 i got directing fr seller who wana crape his nsr, i even hav to remove e carb myself lor.... i guess nsr is originated fr thai or japan rite?

 

and quite a line too looking at your future mod ... no racing exhaust in the list ? if you really keen too, hehe I too have lobang from my Sinnob counter part ...cheap and nice with quality SS pipe ( like yoshi / blue flame model) ... btw it's of course ILLEGAL one lah hehehehe

did u do any mod on ur wiring recently ie add add'l lighting or install alarm, if yes check ur wiring again or temp removed em i suspect u accidentally short some wires.... fuse blown is sign of high current

 

some wiring came loose.. i din install anything yet.. after i get back my bike.. its chromization time!! hahaha.. i tried colouring my tires after seeing mj's work on his tyre wordings.. look at wad i did..

not sure of the nsr carb original plug either ... but there are lot of PE28 out there .. budget wise with ok performance will be the thai original .. daytona and japan ori are quality carbs basically the same only that daytona type being used by official daytona racing team in japan and indonesia... sudco are the best but most expensive since it is made in usa and been modified to it's optimal... besides these 4 carbs, there rest claimed the carb as PE 28 too.

to be honest, I've asked most dealers selling their exhaust online and I even talk to motoworld staff on how the process to have aftermarket exhaust approved by lta ... looking at and knowing the process, to bring in should be no problem but the criteria set by lta are the most concerns ... aftermarket racing exhaust not only need to be brought in by establish dealer and manufacturer but the silencer must be equipped with catalytic converter that requires lta guidelines. Most aftermarket exhaust either failed on this or totally not equipped with the catalytic converter ... similar with gpr or even yoshi type exhaust .. most till now failed by lta but yet yet you can see on the road. Check on their ori website on the R&D section stated all for big bikes only and few models for smaller bikes hmmm

 

db is not an issue as muffler or db killer will make the silencer more bassis. Similar with our stock, if we removed the muffler the bassis sound will get affected .. I did removed mine just for tries hehehehe

 

Same in Indon .. there are lots of custom made exhaust and have been tested on pulsar there .. but none have the catalytic converter!!

R9 racing exhaust ( same company that develop R9 progressive coil ) .. P200 and 180 using new mugello type .. similar like stock but different on power. I was informed R9 brand is the most expensive custom made racing exhaust and were used by their racing team. No catalytic converter installed since they want it to perform at top end speed.

For pulsar 200 and 180 .. it is a free flow and just plug and play...

most cases, rider problem. especialy me. :angel:dis morning at my workplace, i talked 2 a shopfloor uncle whose also riding pulsar about my situation. he told me that the damage parts got overheated which is definitely the case of eo. maybe the eo i used(mineral) is not suitable for certain travels. who knows. these things are not certain. but wat im realy certain is.....i will wait for a few months to overhaul. right now, i'll just be a walking pulsarian. hehehe.

i did it on the groove also.. i also hand slipped and coloured some others part of the tire.. hahh.. nt sure if the colour will affect the grip and water channeling ability of the tire during wet weather but i doubt.. cuz today i rode during wet weather and tires feel the same.. the grooves are thr to do the job.. in any case.. will thinner (is tt how its spelt?) affect our tyres? i plannin to use thinner to clean the parts whr my hands slipped.. will finish my tire chroming after i get it back.. i asked if its illegal or wt, i was told no.. not sure if its reali okay.. i goin for inspection soon.. i'll know soon..

Ok .. remember the rubber coupling at the rear brake drum I posted previously cost $10 at UM ... once it wears off, it affects your gear sprocket chain, wobbling, vibration and also the rear tyre.

 

I'm trying to bring in aftermarket one which the material of the rubber coupling is the same used for forklift .... hmm claims the life span is 3 times longer than our stock ...

hahah ... as long as in room temp places and not at direct sunlight and not in contact with oil .. it won't harm it ... similar to those tyres at the motorshop, how long do you think it stored in the store ... especially the one at ehem ehem .. hehehe

 

bro .. my archery stuff all the dampers are made from either rubber or foam .. and my dampers are all in good condition despite shooting under the hot sun and rain heheheh .. knowledge is power!!

 

similar to all the rubber parts on our bikes, do not apply oil to the surface or keep it too dry .. it will wear and tear faster .. use moisturiser to maintain the rubber parts on your bike .. like your love one skin ... it needs care and tender hehehehe

 

and what type of moisturiser? .. no need expensive one at the motor shop .. just use baby lotion/moisturiser will do ... hahahahahahhahha

a very funny scenerio when i go do inspection. reach there about 5.30, i'm the last n only bike and they want close shop so the guy ask me hurry go register. i left my keys and run to the counter to pay. when i turn back, to my susprise, the guy is running all the test by himself, when i'm back, he's almost done. that was the fastest inspection i've gone thru, est didn't take more than 5min.
