new bike, young rider, no exp, if i were in his shoe, i would think twice not getting 1st party.

well, if it's 200-300 more for 1st party i would consider. anyway ur 2nd party alrady close to 1k, so guage of 1k+ not too bad, it's better to quote more and have spare than quote less then later find not enough rite.

aiyo so troublesome, if got beam technology, why need pulsar

average out 45km/L, but it really depends on rider's style, p180 expect to be better by a bit, only p180 ug1 is the best (by me, and of couse it's limited). if u want a fc of 55-60km/L, try finding a p180 ug1, but it's very rare.

 

for mods, anything u can pay u can do, like our mj bro said earlier, if u have the heart, time, and $$, anything can be done.

 

ultimately its what u want, the only good thing about this bike it can travel long distance b4 pitstop with quite good fc. no other bike can fight. if u're lookling for power, then it's not suitable for u.

Between the pulsar series .. there are no which one is better than the other .. occasionally what one have the other don't have and vice versa ...

 

P180 .. better in terms of FC, need 1 L only for EO .. the cons is the poor quality material of the exhaust ... it rust very fast and need to be welded when there are holes due to the rust. With kick starter but for UG4 sorry not available.

 

P200 .. using oil/air cooled which helps a lot in terms of heat in the engine ... some people said the oil/air cooled is lousy but I'ved used it for 2 years and found it very good but

EO extra 0.15 or round up 1.2L so you need to top up extra 0.2L in ur engine.

Exhaust big n bulky but quality very good SS pipe.

 

Our engine have 2 spark plugs hence the heat is qiute obvious but after a while you get used to it already.

Vibration yes .. but all this will be natural in the running but if too vibrate then go for checking ..

 

All tear and wear is up to the rider usage .. new bike you have 3 FOC servicing charge and 6 months warranty if I'm not wrong or maybe 3 months .. sorry me too old to remember all these stuffs ... Take care of your bike and she/he will take good care of you hehehhe

 

So back to your question ... which one to choose? hmmm it's your eyes, your feelings and what you look for ...

 

for me ... actually I signed the doc for P180 UG3 but I changed last minute to P200 and since then I've NO REGRETS!!

the other electric thing i can think of is (forgot the name), where it's somewhere near the engine, if ur bike cannot elect start but can kick start with no lights, then this is the problem, cost about 50-60.

not much diff, in appearance p200 looks more sporty with split seat.

 

beside the 20cc engine diff, it's also got oil cooler

Post pic bro to confirm the parts .. if truely CDI that I think I can get from Indon Bajaj supplier you need to pay the Shipping cost 100% and my teh tarik for commission ... picture for me and I send to them for price qoute and stock available or not?

For those who bought and used after market CDI, my advice to you are NOT TO THROW, SELL, OR MESS with it .. cos.. all aftermarket CDI life span are not that lasting as our STOCK... AND do bring along your stock CDI any place you go as you'll never know when your STOCK will come in handy .. This ADVICE I received from my supplier and friends in INDON....

 

After market CDI ..YESSS they do perform as overall performance and are very GOOD than stock but the flaw is it lacks in term of life span ...

 

OUR STOCK CDI ARE GOOD ENOUGH AND LONG LASTING!!!!!

Hi Guys,

 

My friend is going to India. I am thinking of asking him to get some parts for me.

My model is Pulsar 180 with analog meters

My front and back brakes are weak. I am thinking of asking him to get brakes pads for both front and back. And also my speedometer stopped working. Thinking of asking him to get the speedo cable.

 

I am not sure how do I specify it to him. Are they called "Front Brake Pads" and "Rear Brake Pads" or "Rear Brake Shoe"? Please help!

Also do you know the part number?

 

ur rear brake can change in jb easily. its better than stock rear brakes. un4tunately my bike is in UM catching dust. if not, i would bring u in jb to change. u can folo others to ah gua lane to change ur rear brake.

 

as for front brakes,

DJ151071 DISC PAD SET,

DE151019 ADAPTER FOR DISC BRAKE,

DG151089 CALIPER ASSEMBLY - BRAKE :- FRONT ,

DJ151039 ADAPTER FOR FRONT DISC BRAKE

however, i duno whether its correct. can enquire UM about it.

well, i got advise from the mechanic who left um (forgot his name), if u're not using original, can use rxz's, but the quality not as good, it wears out fast. the original is harder and last longer.
