i went there spoke to Jason and he just ask if i brought my own horn than ok liao
when the mech installing i chatted with him and know that need to use up the spare fuse in our fuse box for the horn relay
spoke to jason and chris while waiting and got to know that UM might not bring in the Pulsar 135LS & that the 135LS comes standard with the side rack for ladies wearing the sari so that they can face the side while on the bike

the hella horns need a relay
if not our bike batt will drain out fast

O no need to do up e relay, thanks for the update.

Btw guys, I've changed my spark plug to NGK G-power, Mobile engine old and 130/70 - 17 for y rear tyre and my rpm is

90 - 6.5
100 - 7
110 - 8

much smoother and the sound is not as noisy as b4.

ytd got ask at UM if it is possible to change the lighting but jason told me nobody has done it yet
i told him the colours i wanted to change to and that someone on the forum might be able to do it so waiting for it

Asked Tachnicolour the guy in charge, need to take home ur head to check.

If one is done e other can wait in line to do up.

btw, i thk $6-8 should b reasonable cos tat power relay cost ard $2-3 at least i thk.... but if u buy whole set usually is included.

Thanks guys for the precious advises on the mirrors and the horn.

I'm going to contact the guy on the COM thread for the hella horn, or get it from LAB and then bring to UM with smiles to ask them to install

And today, I decided I want to do some make up for my bike, I fancy gold and black combination, but I'm still in the process of figuring what I would like done.

But I have a question: for the following parts, how do I know which brand will fit the Pulsar if i want to change the stock one :

- clutch and brake lever

- bar end slider

- rear stand bracket

And what type of paint should I use if I want to paint the rims and other parts of the bike ? What's the price per can ? Does it come in liquid form (not spray) for meticulous painting ?

finally got rip off my old stock chain tat had served mi most 2 yrs, for past 2 weeks had been riding at 80km/h max n enduring e noise fr e chain due to e slack which had reached it max(can't tighten further)

bro cookie, how many kms have u clocked before your 1st change of chain? i think my bike is near the age of yours wanna gauge the lifespan of my chain.

i think today i suay sia

just now went down to fix up my voltmeter

when i push down i forgot that my side stand is down also

when the bike came down the side stand hit my left ankle

Early morning went to work, lift up my bike from side stand and move back w/o keeping side stand. Scratch my feet, bleeding while riding NICE!!!!

Hi Guys,

I got my driving license converted today at BBDC. Really friendly officer lady. I had only wanted to get my Bike license. But she saw my Indian DL and it is for car+bike. So she said " Why you want to do bike only, lah, do car also 50$ only one time pay". She gave me car license also.I am so happy

1. The Insurance thing I understand. To answer Alvin's question, I did not get the insurance done myself. The shop did all of it for me. I just asked my friend, he said the same thing - that he was given two copies of a piece of paper saying that the bike is ensured, the coverage, etc. I'll just give AXA a call and confirm as well.

2. The road tax thing I find very stupid. I fought with the guy until we were almost about to kill each other, then I just gave up. Going back to the shop on Saturday and will fight some more.

3. Man, good to know that you were not caught at Novena. I work at Novena and I know what you are talking about - that junction is extremely confusing specially for first time riders like me. The fact that you did not get caught at Novena, which is a major and huge junction, gives me great confidence that I won't be either. Mine was a small junction, there wasn't any side road and the traffic light was only for pedestrians, and there were no pedestrians. I am not going back there, just will spend a nervous week waiting for the summons. And in anticipation of my license getting revoked/suspended, I will ride as much as I can over the next week. But carefully.

Oh, and btw, I hit 70 on CTE earlier today and the bike was smooth.

Thanks again guys and I think I will see you guys on 17th for the Hazard Light DIY. (if I still have my license)

And you dont have to spend a nervous week waiting for summons. You can check the SPF website, it gets updated like in 2-3 days from the date of offence.

hi! i got my self a Bajaj Pulsar 180cc without digital speedometer... can i ask if i change the analogue to digital or have somebody put gear indicator ? Heh i still noob...
