Yup I m riding a fazer, due to high mileage a day, I tink it would be quite an advantage for mr to get a pulsar as it's the top best fc in all the bikes, or is there any bike above it? Hrmm not that I know off though :/

I think pulsar is the highest, old bird correct me if i'm wrong. Brand new bike can go up to 700km+ in full tank, my 2 1/2 years still going strong at 520 - 560. But of cos u must take care of it like your wife and pamper it with good stuff to maintain its lifespan.

Actually vehicle manufacturers always mention in the maintence book the maximum duration possible. Even though it may not be good in the long run for your bike. If they mention that oil needs to be change every 2.5k then people buying the bike will think that the maintenance cost of the bike is too high, especially in India which is a price sensitive market.

This is true even for cars in India. The manufacturers state that 10k kms is the duration to change oil. But most Indian car enthusiasts will change at 5k to be on the safer side.

In fact Bajaj has developed their own new engine oil, that will last for 10k kms without change :faint:

Hi Sioster,

Just my personal view, I switch from a class 2 bike to Bajaj some time ago. Well the fact is u save tons of cash from petrol and maintaince. And u will be happy if u ride alone, over taking when solo ride u still can manage which depends on ur skills and doing the correct choice to either speed up or slow down.

Like what Brother Alvin said there are drivers and riders who are in their own world when they are on roads, if ur low in budget, do save up at least 2k extra to do up mods like No fish and Brandon has Brembo 16, Dunlop tires, and if u need better pick up maybe some internal mods that uncle mJ can recommend.

Just my 1 cent advice before u go into wat u wan. :)

2006 - Old School Vespa, Yamaha 125 Z, Bajaj Pulsar 180cc

2007 - Piaggio X8 200cc

2008 - Suzuki GSR 400cc

2009 - Piaggio X9 200cc, Yamaha R6 08, Piaggio MP3 400cc

2010 - Ducati 696, Bajaj Pulsa Ver. 200, Yamaha Fazer 8, Honda VFR 1200

2012- Phatom 200, CBR 150 R - 2012 Model

Once a Rider, Will always be...:thumb:

Pulsar is definitely the best mileage, but do consider that for long distance rides Pulsar may not be the most comfortable bike, may be you should get a cruiser like the Yamaha dragstar or Honda shadow and you can go chugging along like a train:)

Thankz for the advice bro ! Yeah will plan to revamp it abit especially the tyres...I have no confidence in their tyres as it's not radial enough like other class 2b sport bike...damn I lost touch of way Dunlop or bridgestone 2b tyres are good as in the model of the tyre..

Btw u got urs brand new?
