Last night had mine washed at AGL..... Finally get to see the Golden Rim..... Swee!!!

O'Ren's Shadow was also Gleaming after the polish.

Going KL will be a piece of cake since UG2 and UG3 has already been to Thailand.

Who are they? Our very own Nemesis and Gaban.

You intend to travel to KL on your P200?

 

Important is to prep your bike and plan your route and interval stops (for rider to freshen up and engine to cool down.)

how many different size of spark plug do motorbikes have>? usually it state example NGK CR8EGP or BKR6EGP , actually what it meant? the size, the length the material made?? Anyone can educate me a bit.. Thanks

i just came back from a week of vacation and i realise the first time i try to strt the bike a little hard.. after awhile of riding in the carpark... voltage increase but not to normal... lack about 0.7v

see thread #21161, speedaddicts bike for UG2(black n gold, analog meter). see my bike for UG3(red, digital meter) the diff is just minor upgrade. the

term is UG is 'upgrade'.

 

to travel long distance, any bike can do. u need to know ur bikes limit. as a season rider to KL/selangor and above, using my pulsar, this is my exp:

 

. use heavy duty o ring chains. cos lasts longer and gd for long trips. n dun 4get to lube ur chain every 300km.

. if u r riding p200, fill 1.4 litres of FULLY SYN EO. if p180, use 1.2 litres. always have 1 spare eo.

. check ur tyre 1 day before the trip.

. i often travel and stop every 130km. so which means, i ride an average speed of +-115km/h for 130km and rest(approx 1-1/2hrs). it is better to stay on the road shoulder

unless u r confident like me, hehe. the bike wont overheat cos ive done this plenty of times.

. be alert at all times. be wary of buses and lorries.

. fuel consumption? if u travel a total distance of 274km at +-115km/h from sg to Seremban RSA(a place to rest and pump petrol) u only take 11-12 litres.

 

and theres some things i didnt mention above. to lazy to type. ive once traveled back to sg from Selangor with a heavy load and at high speed with no probs.

 

i'll share dis again.

cos you have not touched your bike for sometime

if you are to leave your bike for an extended period of time

you can

1) get someone to help you warm up your bike every day or every other day

2) disconnect the battery

yes i have but not on the north south highway, but on the trunk roads on my way to kuala terengganu. now DAT IS a diff ball game. i have only 1 bad exp on the highway n dat is my chain snapped cos im not using heavy duty chains.

 

if u look carefully on the pic below, theres no chain on the tyre.

any hardware shop can get. its beter if u change ur rear plate no to yellow. dats the least visible at night.
