Yeap near 500+.Forgot the actual block.Anyway I might not be coming because I need to pick my mom up at tekka after work.Hate that stretch of road.We share the same sentiments speed.I personally feel if you can drive/ride at geylang and tekka without getting angry and into any accidents, I salute you!!

Oh! We stay just a few blocks apart :) I stay at BLK 602. I wanted to ask you this long time ago, You had mentioned earlier in the forum that you used Chex 9000 in your bike. How is its performance, on your bike? Is it really smooth? How long does it last? You got it from Keng motors in AMK industrial area right? Are they still selling it?

Yea. Keng Seng is still selling it for $14. It felt smoother than the mobil mineral oil which we used often. If you are using interested in the mobil mineral oil 20w-50, keng seng is selling it for only $8. But take note that it is the first shop when you turned into the lane as there are 2 shops with the same name but the price are different. Maybe one of these days we can go and change our EO. :)

HAHA bro My friend lives in that block.Honda cbr150 black colour.I've been there a few times and ive seen this black pulsar with side boxes. Is it yours? Wah its a small world afterall

Haha. That's mine. I also saw ur bike. Nice and cool. Unlike mine, side boxes are old and bike is getting dirty. Where did you get ur tank bra? Looks cool.

Thats the average price that we see for most ads on the forum here. Mileage also is not on the higher side. But make sure that the condition of the bike is excellent, especially the engine and you should be ok.

can you test ride the bike?

try to test ride and listen to sound of the engine

should not have any weird sounds

then check for exterior for visible dents, cracks, rust, outlook of the tires, chain, sprocs

some of the basic things need to check

or ask someone who is more experience in bikes to follow you to check out the bike

i think still can bargain down the price some more

cos you still need to add your insurance cost into the $2.3k

Thanks everyone who advised on how to push start.

I managed to do it yesterday but was pushing the bike by running on its side and i cut my leg. It's a bit deep but nothing to go to the doctor for. It will definitely leave a scar though.. :(

I think i throttled too much and the bike sort of jumped ahead, and in my attempt to keep it under control, I think the main stand cut my leg. It's the only thing sharp enough.

But I put a plaster on it and cleaned the wound so it's all good now, it's my first bike injury :cheeky:

After that I decided to push start the bike using Eliminator's advice: either I sit on it and push it like a duck , or I use the slope down - either ways work fine. Will see this evening after work if I manage to do it in my work place's carpark.

@Alvin: I don't want to install the chain oiler and I already have the hazard lights but i will join if date and time are OK for me. Will be happy to help other with the hazard lights.

I had got my chain oiled in JB. The guy oiled it so well that for almost 1 week I could see oil patches under my bike in the car park:faint:
