i work 7 to 7 so rarely encounter e jam. ppl at dat timin still slpin or alrdy at hm..hahaha. moreover i onli work 3-4 times a wk..so cn still tolerate e distance.

If u r up for it, follow the route to mersing, from jalan tebrau, head straight all the way. go for the causeway in woodlands. Google map mersing’s route from wdlands cosway. Another alternative if u want is to ride to telok ramunia/pengerang. Google map d route on the web. Be very carefull of pot holes, sand, humps buses and lorries as ur not use to it.

both hkl and um at bt merah..opposite queensway shoppin ctr. spare parts i tink UM is easily available as they are the distributors for bajaj. Reali depends wad kinda parts u lookin for. accessories easily available as its about the same as rxz. or u can join us in our mass order of custom made designs for our pulsars

Don't trust what people say, it's amazing how much people who don't know Pulsars have to say. They just assume that because it's made in India it takes time, but the truth is for all the basic spare parts , UM can provide on the spot and they have stock. of course if something very exceptional happens to you they might need to order from india and it will take longer, but anything from headlight assembly, rectifier, brake drum, to clutch, gear lever etc, it's available and they have stock.

 

We have many riders here who did extensive work on their 2nd hand bike or had to overhaul, it only takes the time required for the man labor, nothing more. So no waiting for parts.

 

To complement what Alfa said about the location of HKL and UM: UM is on Bukit Merah Lane 3. HKL is opposite. UM has two entries, you want to go to the second one, the first one is for the showroom.

Hi 84mmgunner, I'm a 2IC M203 gunner LOL. I'm a new rider and have been servicing my bike with UM since day 1, trust me the basic they have it in stock like oren mention. You just need to wait while they fix it and the mech at UM are frenly and good, as in they will advice u wat to do & wat not to. BTW 84mm siong but lucky u not the assistance, manpack CAN DIE AH.....

and their info is always "i heard from this guy...i heard from my friend..."

if you ask their friend, their friend will say "i heard from this guy...i heard from my friend..."

our fuel guage is not as accurate

go by mileage

you will find that once it starts to drop your fuel guage will drop very fast

Yeah like Alvin said, be careful cause once the gauge will drop, it will drop quickly and might drop several bars at once.

You can wait for the red light to light up but it will make you nervous as you won't know exactly how much is left. My advice is be ready to top up as soon as the red light goes off so that if you need to go a long distance to top up you're still safe with the reserve.

I always reset my trip meter the moment I do a full tank. A full tank -> Reserve lasts me ~710-720 kms. So when the mileage crosses 700 kms, I know need a refill

when the red light on/or meter reaching red, est got 1-2L left, reserve confirm got 2L left. so from there just guage how much u can travel from ur fc.

Just got a pair of S4 mirrors from LAB. Cost me $22 inclusive of installation at their workshop.

 

I had to follow their despatch to the workshop tho and that was quite a ride...
