so um, there isnt anyone else here who has hit 99,999KM on their odometer?

after 3 years of faithfully serving me, i would really hate to accidentally miss a servicing. my milleage can get rather erratic, so i cannot rely on changing it every month. i'll definately hit over the 2500KM service mark before the month is up. changing oil every 2 weeks is overkill, i think.

i tried doing a search, and its not really helpful. makes me wish i grabbed a UG2 instead. less fuss. hit 99,999KM and the mechanical odometer will reset to 0 automatically.

if changing the ECU will change the reading of the odometer to 0, its worth considering.

hehehe .. why not try using Xado Products .. the products are available in KL now since 2010.

Gaban did contact the KL side for Xado but after reviewing their prices.. it's cheaper by MO in Indonesia. He also did buy some engine treatment product at Motoworld but looking at the price .. still very costly compare to Xado price.

Some of us here have used the products .... check my previous MO for Xado .. so far no bad comment on the products on their bike. It's worth a try to revitalize your engine bike!

any idea if a underseat rack for a spark would fit on a pulsar?

Normally racks of one bike will not fit another bike because of the length of the rear of the bike. Remember that the bracket will be secured to the screws that hold the rear shocks. I tried fixing a super 4 bracket to my pulsar and the mech told me that it had to be modified and will cost 40$. Even after that no guarantee that it will be perfect. Better not to risk it and just buy the bracket specific for pulsar. For the box and base plate you have lots of choice.

Just saw a 33L box for 30$.

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/305301-33L-box

33L seems small may be can fit only 1 helmet and some other stuff but not 2 helmets I guess.

Went to JB in the afternoon and filled 16.6 Ltrs of RON 95 at the Esso in Ah Gua Lane while coming back after the SG immigration, missed the turn to SLE and kept going straight on to BKE, then entered KJE and managed to exit and then come back on the same route back to SLE. I think about 20kms deroute. This is the second time it is happening to me :faint:

Nevertheless, Simply love to ride with a full tank up to the brim

if happens on the third time, then don't deroute back to SLE but just travel all the way along BKE, KJE, and PIE back to Tampines ...

a good training for future touring with Gaban... hehehe

if you wanna travel longer a bit then along PIE all down to AYE to ECP and PIE and back home Tampines ..... hehehhe ..

and add little more route can try BKE, KJE, AYE, MCE and KPE and TPE for home .... hahaha

And more advanturers ..BKE, KJE, AYE, exit Corporation Rd or Teban and enter West Coast Highway, AYE, .... see above for home heheheh

Once you accomplished the routes we will salute you and give you a grand title .... SBT King of S'pore Expressway!!! hahahahhahah

there is no specific bracket for pulsar

but we do need to find the correct angled one

if not if you fix wrong either your box will be like a spoiler or will be very near/far behind your bike

33L is just nice for 1 FF/FU (if the helmet shell is not too big) or 1 open face

zeus 45L - can fit 2 open face helmet/1 open face 1 FF(if your FF shell is not too big,if your FF/FU shell is like the mfizz FU sure cannot fit)(2 FF cannot go in if shell too big)

zeus 48L - same as the zeus 45L just slightly longer, able to fit 2 FF/FU if shell is smaller e.g zeus FU(tried and tested)(if your FF shell is bigger cannot fit 2 FF also)

Its been already 1 wk since I start riding my Pulsar..

Since its my 1st bike, I'm still not sure whether there's anything wrong with the bike..

Is it normal when hit 70km/h you can hear some sort of "hollow" sound from the engine?

Also the fuel gauge also sometime show empty & back to 6-7 bar...when my mileage is only ard 170km.

(Top full tank after collecting my bike)

During the next servicing I intend to :

Change EO to synthetic oil.

Change tyres >> currently using MRF stock tyres

Paste rim tape.

Any idea how much for all ..recommendation for tyres.

EO to syn will be about $20.Changing both tyres would be about $200+-.Get battlax tyres coz the grip is awesome! BUT,it does not last that long compared to other tyres.Rear tyre lasts around 1 year and front tyre lasts around 2-3years.Rim sticker will be about $50+ at juzzwheelz.
