need advice from you guys... i realize my oil change is very dirty... dark milo color... any advice instate of overhaul...

Bro, dark color doesn't mean eo is bad or engine condition is bad. Its natural for eo to turn black due to by-products of combustion getting into the eo. If you want to be good to your bike just use a fully syntheticc oil and change the eo more frequently like 2k kms. Keep monitoring the eo level and just top up if it goes low in b/w the oil change.

No need to overhaul or anything.

Bro , Maybe you want to try below:

3-in-1 OWS Performance package for engine flushing >> $30

Fuchs Silkolene Full Synthetic Oil + 2 x Denso normal spark plug >> $38

I did those @ Unique Motorsports @ Toh Guan. Can feel the difference....after that just follow with normal EO change after 2000km.

When traveling on the NS highway in groups, always keep a safe distance between bikes and keep a single line formation.

Selling the CLD exhuast pipe that uncle MJ sold to me. I bought it for $250 but I'm selling it at $200 because I need the cash urgently and also I have no b@lls to use it. I used it for only a week and changed back to stock pipe. The performance of the pipe is better than stock exhaust in acceleration. It comes with exhaust wrap and DB killer(silencer). The pipe is currently at UM(Universal Motors).

ya at pelangi esso, i went a nearby bike shop n they say have to bang the cap in but will dent the tank. so i'm wondering if there's any expert way to get it open without damaging the tank. key can turn, but there's no feeling, just spring only.

There are screws along the rim of the fuel tank lid, can you try opening all the screws that may help? After opening try playing around with the key and opening the internals.

I had a similar issue with the pulsar that I used to ride in India, but the mech told me they have to change the entire lid no other choice. Comparing UM prices with India, I guess it will cost you atleast 30$

EDIT: Oops just noticed that you have already tried opening the screws. In that case, UM is your only hope.

Probably due cold air in the engine (engine condensation/water contamination). When water and oil mixed together the texture and color changes (milky). The cold air in the engine which contains water did not get burnt totally. This could happens if we did not warm up the engine enough when park during cold weather overnight or riding habit to ride on multiple short trips without the engine getting hot enough to burnt the cold air in the engine.

Flushing engines can helps to clear the internal parts to remove excess milky oil or any dirty oil but it will happens again if the riding habits is still the same. That's also not to say that to warm up engine one needs 10 to 15 mins before riding off .. this is also a bad habit .... wasting fuel and time.

To change eo every 2000 km also is not a good for your pocket if you used fully synthetic or even mineral. For mineral 2500 - 3000km should be ok as long as we top up the eo level when it's on low level. For standard full sythetic every 3500 to 5000km since it is slightly expensive but worth the money to protect the engines longer. But for high performance in racing, the full synthetic eo can only last for 1 particular race only. So you need to choose wisely which or what is your objectives to use that particular eo especially full synthetic racing oil.

For KNN air filter, if you really want to use it, knn RC1060 is compatable with pulsar manifolds but yet again what is your objectives to change to knn ... yeap like alvin stated you need to cut or remove your airbox .... there's a lot of cons than pros too if using stock carb .. good sound and pick up but not good at end speed and also not good for your engine in the long run if you are using stock cv carb. To get optimal results, you need to change pulsar stock cv carb to jetting carb eg keihin PE28 or mikuni 28 should be sufficient. Alternatives for air filter, you can opt for Protect air filter similar like knn material ... definitely better than our stock one.

You can contact cookie monster since he got stock .

Ooops .. just saw your last post ... I think UG 2 can't use the protect filter since ug2 air box is smaller than Ug3, ug4 and p200.
