i am having a lot of problems with my bike recently. it all started during the singapore bike feast. i think it was a dirty carburetor, and on the way home, my speedometer cable snapped.

i changed it on 4th aug and washed my carburetor. yesterday, my speedometer cable broke again. :dozed:

couple of week ago, my bike alarm suddenly malfunction. went to change a new unit just now, but once i remote start, i cant off the bike at all. apparently the wiring had short circuited the starter wire. now got alarm but cant use. waste money....

my pulsar seems to be consuming a lot of fuel after i washed the carburetor. is it because of the fuel to air intake ratio? can it be adjusted?

Think u forget to add in the most exciting part of the trip muahahahahhaa.

It wouldn't be exciting if everything went smoothly......:thumb:

brother solar, can DIY a handphone holder anot?

i am using sony ericsson k750i.

I don't think its a problem.

1. You need to get a hp holder that can secure your hp firmly, you don't want it to fall out during your ride.

2. You need that handle-bar damper to hold the PVC T-joint. You can get it at LAB for $9-10.

I can help you to cut PVC T-joint and pipe. But do you mind having the PVC stuffs on your bike all the while.

For my camera stand, its not a permanent mount. I'll mount only for bike trips.

Anotther option is to drill holes on the damper and mount holder straight on to it, that we need to test drilling and tipping thread for the bolts.

what do you mean by the handle-bar damper? is it the straight bar that is mounted on our handle bar like nemesis and yours 1? i got it already.

hmm, i would prefer it to be detachable, so i will only mount it when i am on the road. when parking, can detach it and keep in box. if not sure alot of itchy hand touch here n there 1.

hmm now. where can i get a holder that can secure my phone properly...

Yes.

Currently, without the holder, its hard to come out with a solution for detachable device.

Or we still can use the PVC T-joint option but you can remove the holder any time you want.

And the T-joint is on the damper all the while.

hmm now. where can i get a holder that can secure my phone properly...

Sorry, not sure where you can get the hp holder.

You may need to do some research on that.

I'll try to look around too or some bros can help us on this.

hi guys.. need your help here. i got into a freak accident with a stupid car yesterday. my left side of the bike kena some damage. lucky got crashbar to protect my side tank and engine. but the prob right now is there is this weird metal sound when i ride. anyone can tell me why is that? it feels as if my bike can disintegrate by itself anytime. lol..

apart from that, it's just minor damage. and, should i repair the bike myself? or wait for the insurance claim to settle down. i've only filed a report this morning. any other things to take note?
