similar lah .. why are you very strict with safety gears even for short distance ... if I ride safely for sure iI will not fall or ahve an accident rite? .. OR we can smell fishy stuffs ahead .... hmmmmmm

Bro, with this tyre change your gearing will be short compared to stock. Stock tyre is 100/90 which is higher circumference than 110/70. Now you will find that at any particular speed your RPM will be slightly higher than stock.

 

not much diff. anyway Battlax BT39 is also 110/70. Michelin Pilot Sporty then got 110/80

 

anyway the tire at AGL have to pre order as most shop don carry that stock.

I am planning to visit UM tomorrow morning, just for routine check 6$ servicing, as I have not taken it for servicing since last 5k kms. Also my engine sometimes makes harsh sounds, I will get that checked mainly.

bro open pod sound is like tat one. quite bassy... if u removed e whole airbox, sound will be louder. TP/LTA stop u, tell em it fr open pod filter they should know how to diff

For a temp solution a friendly cable tyes do the trick... nver mind the sound i like it already... anything louder u see my body got alot of bruise... hahaha.. btw i 1/4 turn the carb... it seems better, then the half turn that u did... btw using this open port is better than stock, if the filter of the stock is dirty i have problem in speed... now gradual slope on highways is nothing... the power dosent drop so rapid... still i guess my carb need a change...

i tested out just now...

when engine running at idle 14 ...

after cut off engine quite fast drop down to 12 ...

now still able to start but i think soon cannot liao...

next 2 days not free after work to bring dwn to autobacs(nearest to my place with ok price,got another shop very near my house but chop carrot one the price)

likely sat then bring down...

 

any idea if mustafa got sell?

or was thinking there is a battery shop just near to the old location for 219...not sure of their prices there though...

tis one i bot it to match my keihin pe28 previously, but when fix both together e sound it creates is damn load.... mayb bcos i removed my airbox. so in e end decided to giv it up....

 

Having an open air filter is not like plug play. Especially if theres modding involve. U need to tune the carb, test the bike and tune again. It is quite interesting though if u wish to d o proper tuning job. It will be more interesting if dyno test is involve.

 

Haktek – do update us on the performance of ur bike after 1 month of riding with the mod new filter.

 

if u ask me, changing air filter alone is nothing it oni allow more air for combustion.... theoretically under stock setup a/f ratio is abt 10:1

changing to a freeflow filter increases ur air input, so technically we should increase e fuel input a bit to hav optimal result/performance

 

retuning is oni require when u modified ur carb lik up/down sizes e mj/pj or bore up e venturi or svc ur carb.....

 

cookie monster do all the thing... i just do test... now seems better than the stock filter.. but still i need to change the carb.

 

bro lik i told u, if u find e acceleration not smooth reverse e tuning to e pilot screw to a quarter turn n monitor again. i thk urs should b ok....

actually easier way jus chk ur spark plug colour after 1week.
