juz a few pointers for u to tell u sumtin abt pulsar in general.

 

Positive:

Good fuel consumption(my p200 full tank 18l could reach 700+km..every mth go jb once or twice onli topup)

Very reliable and durable. crank start easily.

Parts r easy to get at 1 bikeshop at bt merah..bt other bikeshops may also have if u r in luck. pricin wise around the same as rxz i believe

Bajaj forum are helpful n nice ppl. if u ever encounter any probs, our "moderators" alvin and uncle mj cn reali help u alot. not to forget our safety ambassador O'ren.

 

Negative:

I duno abt e rest..bt my p200 vibrated alot wen i rode over 100km/h. Put heavy balancer oso no diff. in e end cant be bother juz wear glove..lesser vibration. pulsar was made for India's roads, hence..cruisin at 80km/h would be no prob at all. if u rev more, sumtimes may sound like u torturin e engine..bt its juz hw dey built it.

If u or ur pillion have a big ass..pulsar dun feel so comfortable imho. same goes wif other naked bikes la of coz. sumtimes..e bike choose u..nt u choose e bike..hehehe

my budget wld probably be around 2-3k as i intend to spend maximum maybe 3k+ in total including my insurance (im 22 years old) and all the other misc. costs.

not sure abt your experienced at speed 100km + ... vibrations on te bike not sure what you meant too .. mine I feel normal at 110 @ 8rpm .. engine also not as screaming as what you meant also .. cos I used to ride LC125 and rxz .. bike screamed also at high rpm! ...

 

btw .. did you change anything on your previous pulsar eg changing your stock coil and filter .. here most of us changed to Protect air filter and protect racing coil to have a little bit of torque and power... for mine I've tried Protect V2, V3 and also Andrion cmc5A .. these coils do a little more wonders on pulsar from stock. Changing to Sinnob and also heavyduty rubber damper coupling, mine at low and high rpm does wonders too. Still playing around with other accessories to have a different feel... after said yes my bike still a not perfect bike but overall after 2.5yrs riding .. I have no complain about the performance.... good torque with enough power to pillion and load heavy stuffs on it!! .. cheers!

mine was totally stock..hahaha..onli bellypan and box..handblebar vibrate until nose feel itchy dat kinda feelin. bt nt say pulsar bad la..nw i riding fz1 also gt vibrate..wear glove ok alrdy . mebbe its psychological

drop your sproc size from the stock size(lower your engine's stress at higher speed and drop your higher end rpm)

The only time I felt my bike screaming and vibrating @ 100 kms/hr was when I had poured poor quality Bardahl mineral engine oil in it. After that have changed to Motul 5100 Semi Synthetic and it has been super smooth and revv-happy It has been 2.5k kms since last change and it is still so smooth. Next oil change I will do once 3k kms is done. I am going to try Chessa Chex 9000 FS 10W50 which costs 16$ and has very good reviews especially from Phantom knights.

just used the turbo lube during the last EO change on 15th Dec

just realise got slight leakage,likely is engine seal...sianz no time to go abck um yet...

next up will be using the anti carbon during my spark plug change at 30k

I don wan to re route the air breather la bro. I prefer stock motorcycle Less problems. Yes i heard of Xado but i think i don wan that. I prefer Fully synthetic eo enough for my transport bike. Thanks for the offer bro.
