@alvinyansg: yes its UM the authorised bajaj service center at bukit merah....i dont know the name of the mechanic but i know one thing for sure ....he did saw through the handle bar to get the balancer off. and as arthur said...i did check the screw in possibility but could not do it as there was no place to screw it in....the list as arthur mentioned only had 3 things listed...1) tow charges 2) battery change 3) handle bar change.....i am not saying its um's fault but whatever work they did also didnt sustain....christopher is their service manager who is in touch with me since i reported these issues...lets see how it goes....will keep you posted.

THanks all

hello ppl :)

hope all is well..

btw when should i check the oil level? when as in.. before switching on the engine ir just after warming up in the morning ? or after a good ride?

i know that the oil should be between the upper & lower level.. currently when I checked(after a good ride & the following day before starting the engine for the day) the oil level was on the lower level.. should i do a top up? when doing the top up will see changes the moment i pour in the oil or will it take some time to show? apologies if I bugged u with too many basic question :D

check your oil when the engine has cooled down

which is about min 10-15mins after you ride

when you check make sure your bike is on main stand and the front wheel is touching the ground

Best time to check is after you bike is stationary for a few hours, like early morning before starting the ride.

Procedure for checking is to keep the bike on main stand and front wheel touching the ground. You should see the oil level rise up as soon as you pour in

just check like once in 1-2 weeks. anyway can check before or after ride, but after ride need to let it rest a bit, so the oil will settle, that's when u can check the level. also make sure u're on flat ground.

btw, engine oil or brake oil, lol.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

You can get it at LAB, Kelantan lane.

In AMK industrial area there is a shop called Keng Seng as soon as you enter its the 1st shop. You can try there. Not sure if he has. But he does have Chessa Chex FS Engine Oil 10W50 costs 16$.

I am going to that AMK shop today at 5 PM to change my EO. I will update here the choice of EO's that he has.

The owner is a nice guy. He fixed the crash guard on my bike for labor: 5$. He initially asked for 10$ but I bargained and told him the cost of that crash bar itself is less than 10$ in India, Hehehe.

Mine actually is just about 1 mm above the min line, so when I shake my bike left-right I can see the oil shaking as well

Its open till 10 in the night I think. Ya easy to find. Just keep going to Jalan Besar road (even after the lane for mustafa) you will see a shop named "Regina" on the left side and also see the Kelantan Lane. Turn Left on the Kelantan lane and then turn right you will see Lim Ah boy.

go streetdirectory n find kelantan lane, it's a short road, outside is regina, in the center is lab or lim ah boy. it's opp the coffee shop.

i think they open unil 8+ only, that is if there's no customer. regina close ealier if i'm not wrong.

Bro, Do keep in mind that LAB's accessories shop is in Kelantan lane but their workshop is located slightly away near Lavendar street(I guess thats the name). You need to pay money and buy the EO at kelantan lane and then a guy will escort you to their workshop to change the oil(unless you want to change the oil yourself, in which case you get a 1$ discount, Hehe)

Also, LAB is always swarmed with people and you might get the feeling that you are not being catered to properly. But the good thing is there is always scope for bargain there and LAB is the cheapest bike shop in SG :thumb:
