Seems that shadow ace speedometer lcd screen will fade after years of UV exposure.

 

I managed to pry open the crimp of the speedometer and replaced that screen with a FILM from the screen of a daiso calculator and it works.

However, in the midst of the heavy rain, water leaked in and shorted the whole speedometer.

 

A new speedometer costs $280.

 

Ive purchased a sigma sport speedometer bc800 for about $25sgd meant for bicycles.

Will see how that fair.:pray:

Second Hand 2009 bike..1 owner. $18,500/= paid OTR- $19,625/=, was deciding between STX1300 and this...still a cruiser at heart. also Jack help me to decide this is the one. So when is the next trip. this has got no saddle bags though...will need to install them of these days.

New or second hand?
