Anyone here can confirm the signal lights on the shadow ace and vtx 1300 are the same??? From pictures looked the same.....

 

If so anyone seliing their rear shadow signal lights???

I still got my original Shadow signal lights. Problem is I won't be back so soon. IF the signal lights are same as Phantom, Steed and Shadow, can try Ah Ann Trading at Jln Buroh. That way you don't have to wait for me to come back and also it's a lot cheaper. ok, the finish on the signal lights won't be nice but at the very least, it's still Honda signal lights that can pass inspection :angel:

 

None at all.

 

Of course, I had a kuryakin Throttle Boss and heavy bar ends attached too.

Here is my newly purchased pearl white shadow. Sorry for the poor image quality cuz it was taken via my hp. I will definitely find time to take more pictures using my DSLR.

 

- FBC plate (3yr old bike)

- Bought at SGD8,000

- Very well maintained, (all chrome parts are bright shinny, Rims and spokes shine with no rust.)

- Low Milleage (appr. 20,000km)

 

A few things that i need to know from you guys:

 

- Normally how many km to change engine oil?

- How many km to change Spark Plug?

- How many km to change Oil and Air Filter?

- The headlight was using a white bulb, will it pass the inspection?

- How many km to change Spark Plug? (i change every year)

- How many km to change Oil and Air Filter? (air filter, every 2x EO change)

- The headlight was using a white bulb, will it pass the inspection? (Should be ok, as even use yellow light also fail but still can pass inspection)

After showing them my true sincerity, I managed to lower the price down from 9k to 8k :cheeky:

 

But they only take in my phantom(FU plate, quite alot of customization done) for $750.

 

Btw, do i still follow the rule of phantom maintenance? every 2 to 3k km change engine oil?

Intend to slowly mod up the bike..

 

- Sissy Bar (gf has been complaining of insecurity for being pillion :p )

- Big saddle bag from ah Koon

- Kuryakyn ISO Grip with Throttle Boss and Helmet Lock

- Wind Shield (May be, if can find a nice one)

- Jet 2 Lines Helmet (oops, this is not bike mod :p )

Sweet looking ACE.

Congrats on your new ride. But the fun really begins when you start modding.

 

 

1. For me, if you use mineral oil - 4-5k, semi synthetic - 6-7k and full synthetic - nearly 10k

2. Only if it fouls up. Bring spares in your tool kit. Get iridium plugs, they last longer.

3. Oil filter- every other oil change. Air filter - If you can afford K&N so much better. Otherwise, just clean it when you change oil.

4. In my country, it'll pass. Not sure there.

i know where u bought from bro... e guy quoted me $8.5k, but reputation of that shop not that gd... so i dun dare to buy... but i know e condition of this bike really really swee! i suggest u head down to planet motors at 3007 ubi ave 3 and get ah chong to test ride and tell u about maintenance...

 

when i got my steed, thats what i did... went down to ah chong, get him to change all replaceable parts and then ask him when i must change e next time... :)

Bro armani123sg, ya I truly agreed with u. I feel that their administration processes are quite messy, they promised me to collect the bike 4 working days later, in the end they dragged until 1 week plus..haha..at first they only down the price to 8.5k..but due to my persistent, they dropped until 8k..but i think they earn back after eating my phantom with just $750 cuz it was already a well mobbed bike.

 

Btw I am quite happy with this bike condition, it was like nearly new condition. However, I still change the engine oil and oil filter immediately after i collected the bike even though they told me they had already changed for me for free. I dun quite trust them. :p

yeah bro the internal was modded was thinking of getting the same cobra pipe as yours from e-bay, i know its a risk buying cobra pipes in singapore but maybe i can try to add more packing so it wont sound so loud. Anyway i still got my original pipe with me.
