Hey guys, where are the pictures?

LOL, sorry bro, I came straight from office yesterday as i were doing overtime, hence i nvr bring along the camera.

But 1 thing for sure is that, 6 of us all turned up and fully enjoyed ourselves.

We chatted almost everything about bikes, accessories, modifications, exhaust sounds, and a lot more.

And after hearing francis's and Ariess's exhaust sound, i couldn't resist myself to go search for shadow aftermarket exhaust pipe today.

I went to sanfu motor and they quoted me $600+ for a Cobra full system exhaust.

Alternatively, Rosli from another bike shop telling me that he could mod the original exhaust for $280 and still pass the yearly inspection.

In dilemma now.

I say we can have a big brother Shadow, lil brother Phantom & cousin Steed gathering some day soon!

Just last week we had a PK gathering, a couple of us upgraded to Steed & Shadow already.

Its time for the Honda Cruiser to gather. :D

What say you, guys? (:

Btw, I'm not sure why i ended up buying accessories while i am actually looking for exhaust pipe. LOL, must the influence from Bro Francis~.

Anyway, here are my newly added accessories. I bought and fixed them from the aunty's shop @ Paya Ubi industrial park.

I will be sharing the prices here with you guys :)

Chrome Headlight Visor $20 ($18 visor price, $2 labour cost. I would have fix it myself if they tell me there's labour cost involved in the first place)

If Sanfu can give you a guarantee that the Cobra will pass inspection, I'd go for it.

Big difference in look and sound. But if he can't guarantee it, then you can mod your stock pipe.

hey please bring me along to aunty shop!

Im using cobras for my steed. Inspection may be a hassle but its a yearly affair. Besides, sound's satisfactory. Loud when i want them to be but not irritating. I know for sure my stock exhaust will pass it.

$500-600 is the market price here. No way that they would pass inspections. To get caught during inspections is just unnecessary.

I do have my fair share of unwanted attention. Tp once squeezed just to stop beside me and stared at my bike at a stop. Quite a thrill but nothing happened.

As per what Bro Hydler had mentioned, its impossible that Cobra can pass inspection in SG. :D

What we can do is to change the pipe to stock one before the inspection and change it back after inspection. And also, hoping that the traffic police will not stop us. Hahaha!

Actually i thought of modifying my stock pipe, but the way Rosli told me is a little contradicting. This is the reason why i still thinking whether to mod mine.

Me: Rosli, after modifying my pipe, can i still pass the inspection?

Rosli: Yes. Can pass.

Me: Will the pipe be very loud after the mod? Very significant changes?

Rosli: Yes, very loud.

Me: hmmm....

Loud but still can pass? I have to decide very carefully or else i will have no pipe to change if inspection fails me.

Bro, how's your hand? If you want i can pillion you there. :)

Is Cobra real loud? Maybe I should go hear your bike one day then i decide whether to get one.

I saw from cruizercustomizing, the best reviewed exhaust system is from Vance & Hines. hmmmm... more choices now...hahaha

i tink wat he meant was aftermarket confirm fail as not factory specs.

mod can act blur abit as still is original pipe as long as sound decibels is not too loud. old bike can many excuses de LOL
