Hi charles, i like ff helmets but i find it too impractical for city riding.

To dark angle, if we're taking to the one perpendicular to the ground, aunty shop may carry them.

I agree. I like those pilot-type helmets with double visors but only in half helmet form. Full face helmet is safer but not cruiser style.

hey charles, i sometimes ride with my black fullface helmet too. and look like some bike review test rider. that's quite cool right? haha

anw, shadow riders, wanted to ask. Would it look v ugly if i were to wear full face helmet while riding? I saw this Mfizz helmet going for $140 at ahboy, full faced with some built in sunglasses inside. lookabit like helicopter pilot like that. was quite tempted to get it but wasnt sure if it would be suitable for a cruiser, comments?

Of course I trust my skills. I ride alone cos I don't trust the competency of the driver next to me.

Try FJT around serangoon. they carry original honda stuff.

If not, nice well chromed risers cost $70 onwards as i was quoted.

Risers are the things that clamp your handlebar to the triple trees.

Hmm give them a call and find out. Think its cheaper than not but its aluminium. Damn that ****.

The chromed ones at paya ubi Is really worth its price. Its some solid **** and makes your dashboard looks great.

Hmm If your screws and nuts on your ride is not stuck, it would be pretty much simple.

Aunty shop charges $20 for the change. (Im a reg)

Better than $50 from planet motors.

U mean labor is already $50 if change at planet? I tot it's about removing 6 bolts and nuts only? I better reconsider DIY if i buy. It would be funny if i can neither remove or fixed back...

Hello shadow riders!

Its time for my 1st month's servicing, normally when i rode my old bike ( S4 ) , I would go to republic motors to for my servicing. but as this is a cruiser and I think that you guys would be more aware if there are any shops/mechanics which specializes in cruiser mantainence and repair? lol ,

what things should i look out for during my 1st servicing (please let me know even the basic ones like spark plug change? ) as i am REALLY REALLY noob in this area and you can say quite well that i am still in the SUPER learning phrase when it comes to bike mantainence.

another thing is that a dude from my carpark was admiring the chrome on my bike and he asked me if he could hear my engine, I said of course and turn on for him to hear, then he said that my bike's timing is a little off and might want to consider 'carbonising' the bike, and would cost about $150- $200 usually.

any bros go any idea in this department ? do help! :)

It depends on your luck with the shop. I had to hop a few shops then find someone I like and who can 'talk' to my bike. Thanks to bro Gohjohan

Charles, hope to see you soon on joy rides.

the basics should be tires, brake fluids, oil filter, air filter. Oil quantity and quality, chains
