ya. and if all company rise price 1st u gonna boycott all company? y not u start the lead by riding bicycle and not any other form of transport and tells every1 follow suit

Boycott? Check what happened during the previous oil crises before you were born. When price became too high too fast, and people adjusted their behaviour to substantially reduce consumption, then prices would correct.

 

The answer to high prices are high prices - high enough until they change your buying behaviour and that of others.

 

hmmm... seems like u jus wanna sit back and wait for price to increase till u decides to ride a bicycle...:faint:

Petrol price raise boycott petrol company ?

 

How about housing price ? Boycott HDB, dont buy house ?

 

How about movie ticket ? Boycott GV, Eng Wah, dont watch movie ?

 

Electricity goes up ? Boycott PUB !!

 

Rice price goes up ? DONT eat ?:slapforehead:

 

there is no mention of boycotting all companies...

 

housing? condo price very ex... u still buy?

 

movie tickets? dvd lo...

 

electricity? any alternatve?

 

rice? all brands increase together like petrol company?

There was call for boycott of Shell in 20 Mar 2005, under "Must dismount from bike at Shell", disputed it was for out safety.

 

38 months later, there was call for boycott of Caltex, this time in support of My Car forum, despite so much hatred posting again drivers

 

What are we bikers trying to tell to the rest of Singaporean?

We are Mature? or Childish? or 2nd class road users wanting justice? or Too much time?

 

What is next?

 

Boycott ERP by refusing to ride through gantries while in operating...

 

Better lah...

 

Boycott all rides into Malaysia petrol because very the soon (31st May or 2nd June) we can not pump petrol within 50 km from border...

 

 

This is no in support of MCF.. it's for all who pump petrol... anyway, it may not succeed... but no support, it will not be successful...

don't call it a boycott. let's just say we encourage everyone (most importantly, the car drivers cuz they are the main buyers of petrol) to deter away from Caltex if possible!

The intention is the same, whatever you use word "boycott" or phrase "deter away from Caltex if possible".

 

Such action only add more already bad reputation to bikers.

 

Petrol prices raise simply because cruel oil price go up, and there is nothing we can do about it.

If this is not in support of MCF, why do you bring out MCF link in your first post in this topic in the first place? What kind of image of yourself you are telling others?

 

Agree with Version 100%, such call for boycott is very childish, and to add on, very native too. Your action add more already bad images to bikers. This is often how bikers are demoted from second class to 3rd class & lower.

 

Sell your bike, and take bicycle lah to boycott raising petrol price lah. SMRT & MRT welcome you warmly into their trains as long as it is foldable bicycle. Ministers will like you as that help reduce carbon footprint.

caltex platinum very power leh... i feel it gives me the best power..

but too bad.. i rarely pump caltex. cos i got 12%discount on my speedpass. :D

for now, i only patronises our neighbour's caltax.. At the same time, i will also have some non-fuel purchases such as ciggs, food and take my bike for a wash, all of which is still cheaper than our sillypore.

caltex = quality fuels ... why boycott ? And ...... they have some of the most cleanest toilets i've ever been to ... I always look for caltex station not only to fill-up, but to do big business, if i have to ...

main aim, from what i see, consumers now wants to allow lesser or just 1 company to monopolize the petrol business and raise fuel prices to even higher prices.

 

consumers can do nothing abt it but LL suck thumb cause this is what they wanted to achieve in the first place.

 

dont boycott Caltex la, i like their fuels. :D

nothing much is going to change the ever increasing price of petrol.. just enjoy the temporary price drop for now..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
