Hi guys, newbie dirt rider here. i just got my bike, and i noticed that it kinda vibrates as im riding on the road, can feel it esp in my hands. was just wondering if this is normal for dirt bikes?

If you are using knobbies... it's kinda normal as when knobs wear out they will become uneven and hence go up and down..

 

Last time when riding the KTM2 from east to west, my balls will get numb sometimes...

im riding a KTM2, so yea, 2 stroke. ur balls get numb eh, whoa... hehe. what do u mean by knobbies?

knobbies are dirt specific off tires where u can see the knobs protuding out...unlike smooth groove on on-rd tires....when dis wears off, its kinda not even and it will cause your symptom....cheers

ah i see, no wonder... thanks for the info. is there anything else i shud look for just incase? for normal or abnormal vibrations? any tips for maintenance, mechs, cosmetic upgrades?
