the clinic coming meet is on this coming sat. 8 nov..

i will be preparing to DIY paint my bike tank with spray can..

will apprecaite anyone with experience in doing it show us how??

although the water of the swimming pool in your appartment are cool, but it's so refreshing after bike wash, just that yet to spend more time at your place to enjoy the sauna, can we go there every weekly instead?

I am no expert, but got spray both fenders, front and back before, so got a good idea what is needed.

sure appreciate your help...the tank is sandpapered and ready for painiting..waiting for a sunny day to do job..

kangaroo putty $5.8

primer--spray can $6

paint--2 spray cans 2x$6

clear coat--1 spray can $6

sand paper..220 grits. 2PCS $1

 

any other items need to buy??

mep i was thinking u dun need to do a base coat 1st or the origin colour is the same as u wan to spray? Cause i think if old colour is diff n wan a nice job hor think have to apply a base coat ba heh just a question from mi. If possible would like to go down n join u guyz heh

primer is going to be my base coat...red.

 

finishing paint also red..

 

so i think okay lah..

 

thinking of 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of finishing paint and 3 coats of clear coat...altogether 8 coats...hope it will turn out right..

 

each coat need 20 to 30 minutes to dry..

 

final polish of bike 3 days. later.to ensure all paint dried properly..
