Sorry got a stupid qn to ask, i wan buy a laptop package that does not come with free microsoft office installation, i got to top up 199 bucks for the ms office installation, can i go buy chiong software to install or there are other means?

You may be right, but my reply to him is in relation to .doc (and the related "Office" suite of programs) since he brought that up.

I guess you could use your reply to challenge him on that and tell him to switch since he's dissed Micronsoft... :-/
