Oic. So you're that bright headlight in my mirrors while I was trying my best to keep that big bike ahead of me in sight. Now that I reflect on it, I think you should be the one on my left (probably on 2nd lane while I'm on outer-most lane), signaling to turn left into the final gas station before custom, right? Lucky me, 'coz without ur directions, I would have shot pass it & ended up at custom without a refill. :sweat: But like fruitcakepablophoney said, its downright scary when people start to 'buka throttle' in close proximity. For me, its my first time being overtaken by another bike near top speed, with both bikes sharing the same outer lane ... hairy experience! Lucky I saw its headlight in my right mirror, so I kept to the left side of the lane while it pondered for a while to see if I'm keeping left, before finally making a swift move to pass me on my right on the same lane. Yeah. Probably the big bike's speed is 280 km/h. I couldn't keep up. At full throttle, I still have this other headlight in my mirrors, but luckily after a while, it gave up the idea of overtaking me. Probably 'coz I was taking a bit of risk, passing cars adjacent to the outermost lane at top speed, managing to only use my high beam and right signal to tell them "I'm passing right, keep to ur lane." Phew! Later on, it moved over to the left lanes while I keep in the outermost lane ... probably due to traffic. I realized my top speed, according to the speedo, read 266 km/h, though in reality its likely to be closer to 250. Ah well, its still nowhere near being able to keep up with the big bikes! :sian: I feel the litre bikes can simply overtake us lil 600s as if we're standing still. :faint:

 

Confession: While most of us probably thought the highlight was the spendid food (I won't deny food was gr8!), but to me, its the riding that's the best! The NSH sprint was eye-opening, if not rather scary. The long train of headlights and taillights along the old rural roads were such a beautiful sight! So much so that the bumpy roads didn't matter. It'd be nice if we can just ride in single file on those old rustic roads forever! :cheer:
