last night's weather was spot on for a cool evening ride and kopi....think the timsum was a bit much tho...

pity our bikes weren't forced induction, the cool temp would have been purrrfect.

OH... so U know Zhi MIng....? is he still in Sgp or overseas already?? i'd went to view his Busa not too long ago... damn nice, but hmm, not wasnt able to come to an agreement on the price...

 

i'm thinking if he's Tmax is the one owned by the boss of EXCEL b4?? think so..

 

FYI: There's a Yoshi Tri-Oval Full-System at EXCEL for the Carb-models! Non-legal though....

I need to analyse which is worth geting new or second hand.

juz some simple guide.

2001-2003 - Carb Model with single disc for the front. tires size is smaller @ the rear.

 

2004-2007 - EFI Model with double disc for the front. tires size is 14'' front 15'' rear.

 

2008 - Simpy a new model. Fully face lifted. EFI. with new engine. tires size is 15" front & rear.

the length for the brake hose, venhill brake lines have the measurement already.

those interested can go to HKL (former Unity) to check.

Ya.... Know him very long le... He told me abt the viewing session of his Busa with u before... Yes , David used to be the first owner of his T-Max last time... And as for the Yoshi, i was the one that dig thru the whole pile of exhaust in their store and brought it down to display it there... Dun forget, Excel is third home after my house and my office! lol.........

i just rode to Ayer Hitam on my Carb model on Friday night, and came back to Sgp on a 08'model.... I would say, the 08 has improved tremendously in it's power capabilities... Handelling is one major plus point of the 08 model... I would say it handles almost like a 400 cc sport bike, very sharp, flickerable and stable in the corners... Aero dynamic is also very different... Outstanding... I guess the only advantage of the Carb model is the convenient when it comes to servicing and trouble shooting.... There are not much compilcated electronic gadgets that are involved... Fuel consumption is also slightly better....

u mean the model in general or storage? carb n efi storage is the same.carb has smaller/thinner rear wheel,single front disc brakes,08 model is using the R6 brake calipers,master pump n levers (Brembo)

thus now i can call Ah Keong to prepare a set for me, then just go down and change, no need to leave Bike there for them to take measurements already issit ?? COOL....
