hey funkmeister..yes its true that the bike skids often with its stock tires.thats why its a must to actually change em.anyways i think its not just this bike facing the same problem.i guess most stock tires are like that cause my friends riding other variety of bikes are having the same problem. :)

not only stock tyers. i am using BT39 tires and its the same. its depend how u break. in the end u take ur licence use standard bike with standard tires and sometime u also skid using that bike.

Pls don't get me wrong. I did try emergency breaking with my BT39 tires... can i just simply say that i felt save... It's true, with the stock tires, was like having second thoughts when me speedo jus pass the 90km mark.. Now... i did 140km (MAX with box). Don't ask me why i needed to speed...haha... was late for work, so i had to max my speed to shorten the time, as i've said.. much safer. Especially when breaking... can feel the tires on the road... Anyways.. heard Dunlop tires are equally good. Any bros tried?

Yeah TYRES are very important to your bike irregardless what bike you are riding. Im using the TT900 Dunlop tyres. The specs im using are 80/90 front and 80/110 rear. Great grip.

The stock tyres were good enough but these tyres are better. I did skid before on these new tyres but thats because of my own fault compared to the frequency of the previous tyres.

With much confidence that the new tyres bring yarh you can handle the bike better. But i dont speed... :p I only love the 'cornering' that the bike can do... :cheeky:

BTW. asrizal you can call me apiez for short... ;)

thanks apiez for the advice.hmmm.i think i wanna go for wider tyres.as close to a 2A bike kinda thing.but then again i have to consider the mudguard for the front tyre.damn annoying.oh yes the predator mask.i've seen it on the super4s.. dunnoe if it can fit our bikes.anyways dude,do you know the price in obtaining it? maybe i wanna go get it as well. :D

Hi there Bros and Sis!

going straight to the point, i've been looking for a bike upgrade recently and came down to 3 choices. I've been riding a Nouvo Mx for 7 Months now and i can't stand its wobblelity and Slowness. this is because i commute ard the island much and i think after much (not that much la, but still enough. haha) road experience, i need a new bike that is:

1. Stable

2. Good FC

3. Easy to Maintain.

First it was the TA200. This was my dream bike since young cos very harley looking without the harley price. Its also quite a relax bike. Only thing is alot of my friends didn't quite recc getting this bike as the handling is quite different. i was going to get this bike.. untill i came across...

YZF-R125 and R-15. haha. Thing is, i was never a fan of sports bike, but the good handling features and good FC of these 2 blew me away. not to mention it looked like the R6 and R1 series. i wanted to ditch the TA200 for this.. untill i found out the price.... erps...

Then while i was browsing for a cheaper alternative, i came across FZ150i. Nice built, good FC and reasonable price, i found my answer. haha.

So now the question is:

1. Where is a good workshop to buy 1st hand FZ150i and (for my information - the TA200)?

2. I've already insurance.. can i just transfer it to the bike?

I've got quote from mah motors for FZ150i: $6750 and TA200: $7750. OTR. good price? cos i find it abit steep.

Thnk a million! and Have a great Weekend!

Mah Motors tend to be slightly ex... anyway mine is 6100 ins + rd tax everything in and that was exactly one year ago... :) And i bought mine at ASP... mixed feelings about buying from them so i cant really recommend...

Anyway from what i know insurance can transfer but depends on bike also lor... may need to top up on certain models/capacity. The seniors can answer this better.

Hope that helps! Wish to see another Fz150i rider! ;)

guess what guys,

i think the bike really has a lot to be done before it really can be considered an awesome piece of masterpiece on the road.

well honestly, the head is pretty much in need of change.maybe something like a diamond head or something that will give this bike a decent face.the stock one is really that ugly.

other than that, the tires are becoming a major problem for me.a change and it will be all good on our local roads.maybe we could also think about a possible chance of having a real mudguard hugger instead of the flap we all have in the stock ones.

basically that is all. the belly pan could be optional depending on one's liking. i find that being naked is really the main idea of the bike.

the rear suspension needs to be fixed good too cause its really soft.

right now,my bike is really in need for a change.its failing me now.guess i was too rough on it or something.the rear tyre is acting up by deflating every few hours and i just changed the tube about 5 days ago.pretty much sad right? :(
