try the bridgestone battlax.. 110 back and front is 90.. im no pro but u just have to change the tires to bigger ones and i think u will be satisfied. the pick up will not be affected much for this bike. tried it and im satisfied seriously. ((:

is the bridgestone battlax tires tubeless? If wanna change to tubeless tires i have to get the rims changed right?

hi fazers, i'm collecting my bike soon and seen the opinions to change the tyres, so should i change the tyres immediately? or maybe after running in?

Thanks!

No rush man the tyres are good for normal use. U also doing running in so should be ok.... try to get a feel of the bike for a few days, weeks or months first. Do take care during the rainy days. (applies to all riders actually) :goodluck:

haha no problem bro. everyone is pretty much new here man. honestly i only ride it since feb 09 and i have suffered skidding with the old tires man.heavy damage happened. so my bike don't look anything like the original state. haha i guess to look at things positively, it was good cause the damages gave me rooms to improve my bike and work on it. now i am satisfied w it cause it looks one of a kind. haha. okay i still think more mod can be done. looking for digital speedometer to fix if its possible cause mine is all bad now. haha. I'm sick and tired of my Honda Wave already. Thinkin' of changing to Yamaha FZ150i but still looking for more information for this fz150i.

Does this bike have OIL filter?

How abt the engine oil? How many litres? I saw from yamaha-motor.com.my that it is 1.15litres? Is it correct?

Any bro knows abt this?

So far i haven survey the price for this bike. I intend to survey at Southern Motor and SpeedWay later.....

Hi all ,

i have the indian version of the FZ150i, the R15, and i just got the bike serviced with the tappets adjusted and everything. But i feel that the bike is not running in a proper state of tune. Its giving me about 35 kmpl, and the bike hits 130+ kmph, but it takes very long to do that, than before.

The C0 setting of the ECU is at 0 only ( as it came from the factory ) , but now the engine has run about 6100 kms, so i need to ask, what is the best way to tune the bike.

Should i set the C0 ratio for maximum rpm at 8000 rpm??? as in open the throttle till 8000 rpm, and then change the ratio and see which point gives me maximum rpm at that airflow???

this will make the bike ideal at high rpm, but less fuel efficient at lower rpm, which already since i do a lot of highway , so the bike generally stays between 6-9k rpm, and when i am pushing for a high speed, then 9k rpm + till 10k.

Please advise so i can tune my bike to the right setting!

Thanks in advance fellow riders!!!
