last month got a new battery, last friday, got another new battery. havent got the fuel pump yet because not so sure of the source of the problem and it costs 3times more than a merc fuel pump.

it seems it is the fuel pump.because the 2008 product have a problem in its fpump.so if that is the case , i think , plase check the fuel pump , spark plug aand ecu ..

or maybe there are a water mixing in the air filter. plase ask the mech check air filter and all things i mention .

used the FId to check it

it can found the failure.

do check it using fuel injectiction detection

(fid). it is a mechine that detect any failure that fz have. it can be found at yamaha servis centre.

ask mechanic about it.

for ur information , here in malaysia

with our forum, we have our own fid, we check and do the servis ourself

and setting the bike with that equipmemnt. we do brought it. for own use.

so each region in malaysia , we have at leastr 3 ppl that have the mechine,.

so it is easy for our forumer to check and sets their fz with out send the fz to yamaha.. ( sure yamaha agent mad at us ). beacuse we know better tahn yamaha mechinic he eh heh e.. wink iwnk:P

generally i think this bike still quite ok... i got it for closing to 3 months, before change anything got notice slight electric problem, then chage headlight liao the problem everyday see... but best is got a good workshop u can trust... solved the problem... now i love my fz150i...

bro i think if buy brand new should not have any problem. the first few batch have fuel pump problem and it cost $300++ to fix and need to wait for ordering... seems like carbs are stil more reliable...

How much is difficult to define cause different SIZES equates to different PRICES. Normally the bigger the size of the tyre the price also is higher cause more rubber is use on the tyre.

u can use michelin 120/90 rear , front 90/90 budget around SD 150

or ducaro tyre .. 110/80 rear , front 90/90 SD around 120.00

shinco tyre .... 120/90 rear, front 100/90 . hope this will help u

i hope u all fzian in singpore do check up with hly singpore for more details on the Fuel pum promotion , yes, 1st batch fz have fuel pump

but the second batch and so on , the fuel pump matter been solved.

In my opinion if u want Big Gas tank, i suggest you go and take 2A and ride a SUPER4 then. Worth it your money rather than Modding here and there. Yamaha engineers are there to make the best specification for the particular bike before it is made final. That is what the manufacturing engineers are employed for.

 

Just my 2 cents opinion. I do not intend to flame anyone. Hope you understand my good intentions.
