Do u guys think tubeless tire can use on our rim? As I have check with Yamaha agent , they told me it is not advisable to change to tubeless tire as the rim is not design for it.

Posted

hey calpton i changed my tyres to tubeless.

bridgestone bt39.

i dont think its bad as to me after changing the stock tube tyres are way more bouncier and unsteady as compared to what im using now.

so i follow what the laochiao's here recommend.

tubeless tyres for the win and so far everything is smooth.

i dont know about k&n air filter but i know bmc air filter have

lol!

Hi there. As of now, I don't know if K&N have FZ150i model of air filter. However there are other alternatives for FZ150i.

The following brands are are available.

Protec

JFC

BMC

Look here.

Hope that answer your question.

The answer is YES. Tubeless tyres can be fitted to our existing sports rim. Typically Tubeless tyres are safer than tube type tyres because once if you puncture a nail on tubeless, the air won't go out so fast. While tube tyres the air would go out and you may buang on the road. Whichever you think is safer choose wisely cause the ride is yours.

Happy riding and ride safely.

Another thing pls wear gloves when riding cause when you fell which one you reach out first? Surely it would be your palm right? Imagine you reach out to the road without a glove. Ouch that is painful. Gloves are cheap.

I have done the search.

Most of the coolant-cooled bike was recommended AGIP TEC 10W40.

bro how much is it otr now? FZ150I and R15 which is better in terms of speed, cornering, comfort, fuel consumption?

i saw ur 'debating' at the r15 forum...

speed, eh engine block is the same, only that for r15 is bore into 6 gear... for me 110km/h still ok, close to 120km/h abit light light feeling already...

cornering, u got ur answer, r15 is better...

comfort, fz150i better...

fuel consumption, around 40km/l... so about the same ba... maybe r15 abit lower...

r15 more ex, insurance also higher. but if u go for looks, go for r15... nicer... if money not an issue, and u wan chio bike, go for r15... if u wan comfort, lower costs then fz150i is for u... that's my view... hope it helps...

step-kang please lah!

to date no offence or arrogance but i havent met an r15 that can smoke my baby fazer.

but hey maybe im just moving faster.

but for r15 i think the fuel consumption is higher but again its always on the lightness of the riders right hand.

just my two cents

Get What you Want. Simple as that. It's only a 2B Bike cannot expect much be it a FZ150 or R15.

If you looking for speed forget abt 2B upgrade to 2A then after that class 2 and get a HAYABUSA. Sure got speed one.

For cornering it's up to riders skill not the bike?

Comfort? This one is up to individual. Some like it sporty some like it Relax type.

FUEL Consumption? This one also very HIGHly dependable on your pattern of riding style. If i say 40km/h then if i do HARD style(Fast and furious) riding will it still be 40km/h?

I would be sure it would be lower than that.

So it the end choose the one you like it. That's it.

I choose FZ150i because the of the outlook pattern. As i was used to my last time RXZ, I love this FZ150i because its outlook is very close to RXZ and i could fix a box like RXZ. Only that i don't need 2T this time.

The rest you decide lor which one you want.

Even if you could smoke the R15 what would you gain? A present? A Champion throphy? Most to most is just satisfaction and I think you are just wasting more petrol. Just remember the road is not a track. Got many cars, lorries and buses which are far bigger than us.

A word of advice from me.

Ride safe and careful my bros.

Riding motorcycle is like cucumber bro. We bang also we kanna,if kanna bang also we kanna. :cheeky:
