eh qn for you guys abit noob since i never tested on my bike.

it seems my bike can go 300km++ with a full tank wondering any of u guys , (and gals hi dag loke sis), ever tried full tank.

i know that when it reaches 300 km my meter almost red liao.

i believe can go till 350km cause still got petrol but scared go far far must push bike to petrol kiosk. lol!

Bros n sis... Reccomend u guys to get the stainless steel weight n bar end sliders... Vibration greatly reduced... After I changed initially got problem as in when to change gear... Vibs reduced end up I rev very high then change gear...

 

eh flint, u always whack ur bike n travel top speed ah? As I told u I top up when guage reach half or reaching half... 2nd last top up at 320.3km fc @ 43.8km/litres. Last top up forgot to record the distance travelled, should be at 263km, fc @ 42.2km/litres. Riding was +10km/h at speed limits... Last top up results is wif harder acceleration, meaning rev higher then change gear.

 

U do slowly a few at a time la... Get the bar end sliders, clutch spring, liquid moly mos2 first la... These r cheaper compared to the rest... Then later can get pa v2... Then later ignite... Next tues night huh? Ok la... who else wanna come? Currently flint n me...

Still tryin to figure out the differences. Not really gettin like a huge diff from pa2 n ignite. Will update u all when i get a more definate performance review to write out.

yo! just dag is fine. anyway i heard the meter not accurate one. and i find that true also. cos sometimes my tank only half full, the meter always show empty until i start my bike and after heat up then it'll show half full so i always go by my mileage to guage when i need to top up. haven't really try push till 350km before. eh... who got lorry. i try push liao then call when i stall.

Haha flint! Dun try better. I had to plan my routes so dat i will always pass by petrol stations along the way. No fun. But at least i got a estimate if my fc. Will have to do it again if i wanna see if PA really helps fc. But got to wait till i get the guts to do it again. Wanna test with same eo n petrol 4 more accurate comparison. Will update again

lol! i was just jalan-ing along serangoon checking out bikes cos first bike don't know what to get la. then i saw this bike and in pretty good condition. apparently the guy before me really looked after it and he already changed tyres to tubeless kind. i come online to check out reviews, seems damn good then i buy la. was damn scared someone would get it before me. bought at bike productions for 3.8k. so far only my first month on it so haven't done anything yet. only installed box. tyres also still damn good but i wanna change the mirrors. can't see **** sey. hmm... the rest gotta ask you lao jiaos already. suggestions suggestions? but not too fast also la. i'm super poor now after i bought this baby

catch the news lor... Haha... My ignite install switch Liao... So can off it and feel the bike w/o the ignite... I go test test see diff got alot anot... Wierd leh that time install only ignite felt tremendous diff... I remembered seeing in forum dunno where got ppl say not good to always use petrol til very little left... Use to the half marking can calculate Liao ma...

 

Dag sis... Should be meet 9pm onwards... If meet preferably meet Liao then go meet the other fazerians lor... The fuel guage when reaches half, means use almost till 3/4 tank le...can top up 6 plus to 7 plus liters of petrol... When ur tank is about half on the guage, the needle will take time to rise... If full tank the needle rises very fast... Seems like it runs on pressure... Sis recommend u get the essentials first... Gd mirrors, bar end sliders, liquid moly mos2... Then after that is up to u to go for appearance mods or performance mods... U free after work we can meet up at wlds since I frequent wlds frequently la... SMS k...

Dag, slow improvements can liao.. furthermore, HLC give free wash with all works done.. do them 1 by 1 better..

 

priority recommended changes,

 

Koso Side mirrors ($45 the sharp ones.. matte finish on the back)

Engine Ice coolant (will only use half bottle, so dat 1 is gonna last a long time)

BMC air filter (allows u to ride worry free n almost no maintenance required)

 

After u've done the bare necessities, things like PA or other "nice" things can wait.

 

meet up with step_kang or me to look at wat we have done to our bikes then decide.. we're both really satisfied with our mods, but u will have to see it for urself.

 

i usually go down on on thur or fri mornin cuz i'm off from work.

yesterday go to equipment extreme with doofy, meet another forumer riding spec 3... installed grounding 4 my bike, plus add liquid moly mos2 to eo... wah instant felt the bike run smoother... great stuff... will talk to boss chua to take this mos2 in too...

 

today went down to extreme again, install PA ignite switch, change speedo n rpm panel bulb to white led, change handle bar balancer... the moment started to ride along depot lane to depot road, i was thinking WTF holy cow! Then after turn into depot rd onwards was grinning all the way back home... swee la... handle bar vibration eliminated 80%! power sia... :thumb: power to extreme! now got another wonderful bike shop liao...

 

can't believe i missed this post!!!!!!

 

I wanna change my bulb light tooo!!!!! Kelvin say dun have!!!!! argh!!!!! /rage/

regarding ur clutch biting point, stock bikes indeed do have a very smooth clutch.. even till the point that u do not feel the biting point. if u want to have a definate biting point feel to it, a replacement of the clutch spring can be done.. try step_kang's bike to know wat i'm talking abt.. mine is still stock and i prefer it that way. get a feel of his bike's clutch before u decide if or not to change.

I saw the green FZ150i before at Tuas Secondlink petrol kiosk last saturday with flint when going in JB time. Quite wierd though. It's very rare. Most common is the red and the black FZ150i. Yee har...
