Cool..... Well, mine is not always the first hump but always at the start of my ride... mabbe a few metres mabbe 50 metres but always before my bike temp rises to normal operating temp.

I concluded that it occurs whenever i close my throttle and allowing it to reach idling rpm that is when it will die off. Also, when i start bike in the morning the idling is always lower than the idling i've set.... then after it warms up the idling is ok....

Wow....change so many things looks like it brought back the efficiency in your bike! whats the damage?

hmm.. wat is the correlation between bike temp and gg over a hump?

damage was abt 1k. too many , n too lazy to list all out .

Think they mean 'Botak'?

Anyway, my idling problem seems to have been solved... was pumping V-Power for sometime, recently started visiting a newly opened Shell near my house...

This morning decided to try back Esso 8000 near my GF house... the stuttering has all but disappeared...

Will try switching back to Shell for my next pump, but not at the new station.

new shell , as in the one across princess elizabeth pri sch n the new VI?

I think Tai Hin has.. Saw it on one of their ads..

depends on which type of floor board you are looking at...

mostly in singapore ones are cutted from those metal sheets....(those cross cross cross type)

if looking for abit special type, then daytona has 2 designs of it. one with lcd and the other without.....different designs also......

but i am not sure how much it is for singapore ones.....

dayonta type cost abt 300 plus to 400 plus depending on designs......

BUT i just love those type and bought for my YP250 .....:faint:

Got a link to how a Burgman rider from US solved his oil consumption problem... a bit extreme though.

An interesting thing he mentioned:

  Quote
FYI: There is a plastic air restrictor in the hose that goes fron the engine to the air box. The hose is for crankcase blowby pressure. I have found that the restrictor from the crankcase pressure is forced into the bend of the hose causing more pressure to be blown into the airbox. I repositioned the restrictor in the straight part of the hose and secured it in place wih a hose clamp.

Seems like a cheap work-around solution to try out...
