exciting are the rumours about a new 800cc Ninja roadbike. Kawasaki dropped the 636 from its model line-up this year and the 750 was dropped several years ago leaving a big gap between the ZX-6R and ZX-10R. Now that WSBK regulation is out in the open when displacement for V-twins are concerned, the in-line four might get bigger too. That leaves an even bigger gap between the 600 and let's say a 1050-1100cc in-line four. With MotoGP going 800 in 2007 there are some synergy effects to consider and the ZX-8R could be Kawasaki's answer. We instructed our designer to make it as much MotoGP as possible, but expect something like this to bear similarities to the new ZX-6R. We hope Kawasaki will launch an 800 to compete with the GSX-R750 even though there are no race series for these machines anymore. Go on Kawasaki, we dare you! Kawasaki Euro marketing boss Leo Schlueter commented: "No comment" and UK marketing manager Martin Lambert commented he wouldn't speak to me on or off the record about new models. We assume in case something would slip.

http://zxzone.com/resources/bop/oilpantop.jpg

A must for all drag raced ZX12s. This pan features a swivle pickup that keeps the pick up in the oil whether under hard acceleration when the oil tries to stack up against the back of the pan, or under hard braking when the oil runs to the front.

This pan slants slightly forward where the drain plug is located. No drain plug on the bottom to cause problems on lowered bikes.

This pan is cnc machined from solid billet aluminum to exact specifications. Mounting bolts included.

Fits all years.

Fully CNC machined from chrome moly forgings, Carrillos are the strongest rods available for motorcycles. Featuring SPS "Multiphase" bolts. Not available in any other rod.

Why risk distruction of the complete lower end when Carrillos provide that extra cushion of protection.

Falicon Knife Rods - The Knife® - the most streamlined shape design in the industry - is shaped like an airplane wing to resist twisting and reduce the turbulence in the crankcase for horsepower gains and efficient oil flow.

Falicon designed this new generation Knife Rod using Computer Modeling and Finite Element Analysis and tested them on the track. Stronger, lighter and more aerodynamic means more power with better reliability.

Falicon's design uses Quality Certified 100% machined Timken Var300M Steel forging - Developed by Falicon using the same materials as NASCAR® engine builders.

Muzzys Performance Products announces the availability of billet crankshafts for the ZX-12R. The nature of a properly designed, machined from billet crankshaft permits the use of longer strokes without a compromise in reliability.

These new crankshafts are precision machined from 4340 steel and are available in two stroke lengths, 60mm which is 4.6 mm over stock, and 62.4mm which is 7mm oversize. The crankshafts are nitrided, micro polished, and feature ground gears. The 60mm crank is available with standard bore spacing or offset cylinder spacing for use with the Muzzy 87 mm billet block. All the longer stroke 62.4 mm cranks have offset rod journals for use with the 87 mm Muzzy block. Both offset cranks do not incorporate a starter drive gear due to rod clearance limitations , therefore they can be used ONLY with an external starter. The 60 mm stroke, when used with a standard bore spacing 85.4 mm Muzzy "1270" kit will yield a 1375cc engine. When used with the Muzzy offset billet block you get 1427cc’s, which is just the right size for NHRA Pro Stock. It’s likely these cranks will become the standard for any true racing ZX-12 engine, especially longer stroke turbo or nitrous applications.
