Malaysia delivery rider

My friend was involved in an accident with a food delivery bike with Malaysia plate. The rider hit the back of his car but lucky only a dent at the bumper. My friend asked to settle on the spot but the rider insisted on reporting and claim insurance. The rider is alright but what will happen to the insurance coverage?

 

Any bro with such experience can share share?

 

Anyway, my friend still settle on the spot as he said don't know if the insurance is valid in SG or not. Was told that the delivery company actually purchase a separate insurance from a SG company for such incident. Any one working in this industry can enlighten us?

if that is the case then your friend should have contacted the company by now. what was the outcome?
