guys...i wanna ask wats e longest period of time u all waited to get back ur insurance $$ after selling ur bike to a bike shop.....i waited for like 3 mths n e shop told me stil haven get. -.-''''

Got the cheque on the spot.

i was wif mitsui . i got another bike shop to check for me le, its been cancelled for like 2 mths liaoz.but whenever i ask e bike shop , he keep tellin me not so fast. duhzz.... wat can i do ??

U can always bring the insurence down to the company like muistui to claim back the money ma. Do u haf a recipt from the bike shop to show they r helping u claim back the money?

eh...no ?they did not issue me any .e insurance all tis i hand over to e bike shop le.

ya...its being cancelled already.i checked wif e insurance company.but everytime i ask e bike shop , he keep tellin me it wont b so fast.feel cheated actually.

took ard 6~8mths... damn pissed...

called the bike shop which bought the insurance for me to cancel the insurance.. a few weekslater still no news from them... called them again, they ask me to bring the lta transfer letter and the original copy of the insurance (the proof that i've sold the bike) to the insurance head office and cancel it myself. went and did it..

they say will mail me the refund in a mth's time. waited for a mth or 2 still nothing in my mailbox... called the insurance company to check out... they gave me a number and ask me to call... then the next company ask me to call the bikeshop which i've bought the insurance as they have mailed the cheque over... called up the bike shop and they claimed that they havent receive such cheque and will call me once they received it.... was so freaking mad... waited for another 1~2mths and called again... bikeshop said have to dig out the old records and will call me the next day once they find the cheque... 2 days still no news... i called them up again... later the person incharge told me the cheque has expired and will need the boss to re-issue the cheque when he is back in town in a week's time... called them 2 weeks later and they said will remind the boss to sign and mail to me asap... then finally "wah lah" i got my cheque...

 

since then.. i ban that bike shop and that insurance company...

wa kaoz....so long !!!! i asked other bike shops , they told me longest 2 mths.i keep calling them le , they just keep telling me not so fast..damn pissed also.dunno how to make them work faster.if i noe they so c*** , i rather go down personally to cancel.even if i get back my insurance , i wil ban tis bikeshop too..slowpokes....

Hi, just wondering, isn't insurance a contract between you and the insurance company? what has it got to do with bike shop and why would insurance company refund to the bike shop?? I waited like months from the insurance company after i refunded only to find out its been refunded to "y*w he*g" and finally from there to A**ert* motors in March. This insurance been used only for 5 days only. Can i send them (insurance company) a lawyers letter for the refund recovery...? i really hate to go back to the bikeshop.
