bro 1.72 is such a good height. i'm 1.69...1.7 on a good day...you'll be fine... R15 is better compared to a honda cbr125 or cbr150, these are the lowbudget sports/commuter bikes...

Our bike's size is a much appreciated challenge and its nice to have road presence...everytime i see a R15 and its skinny tires I wonder how those riders can take it riding with such tires..

hot day bone expand 1.7

cold day contact 1.69?

Hey guyz, The reason why i installed a Spy 2way alarm was bcoz I aware of alot of itchy hands touching it, but i just didn't know when.

Today my remote started beeping, i rushed over to my window to see 1guy trying to sit on it. The Warning Tones started and he backed off really really fast.

Our Bikes are our own, never let anyone else fiddle with it. Unless you gave them permission.

Now it remind me of an incident at CKA. I went to make payment for my bike but an uncle just came and sit on my bike. I have no problem with it at first but NO ONE SITS ON MY BABY!

Time to put on the bike cover again.

Thanks for the replies guys! How is the push off speed for this bike? Being a heavy bike and 125cc only review said it's slow going off. And only 5 gear only? Top speed still decent for sg roads?

installing alarm will increase the depletion of our bike's battery life isnt it?

hmm.... so far i have not experienced any engine stall yet.

just find that the clutch very stiff... maybe my left fingers are not strong... lol

anyway, just to check with u guys about stopping techniques.

u were going at gear 5 then suddenly traffic light changes at your disadvantage. DO u...

option 1:

hold both brakes , clutch in and down 4 gears upon reaching stop line or

option 2:

hold both brakes, clutch in, down 1 gear first, use engine brake, then repeat steps to gear 1 upon reaching stop line?

my another question is, which braking technique is bad for our gears/clutch/whatever parts involved.

can some bike guru share with me. thanks. greatly appreciate it. hahahaha

top speed for sg road? how fast do you wanna travel? 120kmh with a 48L box is no problem. Do anything but dont get caught loh. lol

fuel efficiency wise, i traveled 40km+ already but the fuel indication bar is still full. more fuel friendly than my daystar

no matter what DO NOT EBRAKEEEEEE at traffic light! NEVERRRR.

what i do is judge by the pedestrain crossing light. if red alr, just slow down.

if u have to brake suddenly please do not clutch in! when alr at line than clutch in. if u have time to slowly kick down gears , i guess its not an last minute decision?

i always drop 2 gears slip the clutch for like 0.5sec of engine brake then double drop again

First Hand OTR: $8.5k

30 - 40km/ litre [needs confirmation]

mine is roughly around 32-33km/litre since i speed [max 120km/h] alot.

overall, it's a good bike. doesn't strain the body. comfortable sitting position. maintenance-wise, not sure. yet to go for my first service.

need to get used to the weight of the bike since it's 150++ kg.

Monstar, I have LEDs installed and my bike batt lasts for slightly more than a year. Estimate 1yr 3mths. Cost of a stock batt is $90. The Alarm eating into my batt is a small price to pay infact as what Jeremiah(another R125r thread Floater...i mean rider) said it gives us a greater peace of mind that no one is fiddling ard with your ride. Infact initially when i bought my bike i invested in a Xena Disc Lock at $55, now that i've installed the alarm I would like to let go of my lock...PLEASE PM ME http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5RQXcviDjY

Hello Whistopher, what the others have said are true. If you want a bike for speed go for an aprilia, but if you want a bike that gives you stability, road presence, Fuel Economy and a big bike look and feel get ours... its gives a FC of 30-35Km/L which is fantastic for a bike this size.

But you have to be prepared to learn how to handle this docile beast, she weighs 163kg dry, 178kg with 15L of petrol. PLus your weight in. Plus yr pillion's weight in i would say this little 125cc engine handles pulling 300kg of weight well enough to give a good FC rating. Not too bad for a Korean 125cc engine...

And Yes i believe there are second hand ones out there...try to search or give CKA kaki bukit a call or visit.
