if your bike is brand new , doing 100km/h is super hard break in .. and is not normal to hit 100.. but 2nd hand maybe should be .. spocket and chain ? maybe only

Here is my post on what I did with my bike.

As you just got yours from CKA, take it back and ask Chief Roy to help troubleshoot, bro.

All the best!

Hey people!

I checked out the Daelim @ khaki bukit brunch the the people there are so helpful!

Anyway, I wanna know is the roadwin 125R FI really good? As in (duh!) No.1 Korea bike and all.

Fuel efficient? How about the parts? I really wanna lay my hand on this pre-own plate FT68P, 2 years for 5.5K.

But many people discourage me that this is not a good bike and might not be good for a first-timer like myself :(

hi foxin, its great that you are interested in the bike. But what were the reason that this might not be a good bike for you?

there are quite a few owners who brought this bike after passing their 2b(like me) and i feel that it is comfortable to ride on; expect for the weight of the bike, but after sometime you should be able to get use to it.

Really like the look of the bike for a 125. People been asking me and raised eyebrows when I told them its a 125 as they thought It was a much higher capacity bike.

hey thanks I have since changed to this tyre and what you said is spot on for me. Also love the fatter tyre look.

Would have gone for the Pirelli but the rosso is discontinued and rosso 2 is months away and not to mention the price tag!

Feedback were from other people and they mention quite some stuff like parts have to wait for long, low mileage and bad bike.

I set my eyes on it because it really doesn't pull off as a 125, it looks more like 400 and above and I really like to design and the size of it. Bulky and not like those cbr150 which is like a it's on diet.

Was quoted 9.8k OTR for a brand new one and 5.5k for a 2 years old bike.

would like to know what are the price range and such.

How's servicing for you guys.

Ps. Imma noob **** and pass my license like a week ago and was totally clueless on everything.

Let me ask you 2 question ..

- Who is the "other people" you got from your feedback ? A non-rwr rider or from a rwr rider ?

Daelim bike - Not much ppl riding this bike , so getting feedback from other ppl is like useless ~ I'm glad u come here and ask , we very happy to answer your question..

Because we are happy customer from them =)

Normal parts doesnt need to wait for long .. CKA is singapore few bike company with more than 3 shop + servicing center..so no worry for parts needed to order from korea .. blahblahblah

Low mileage - What do you mean by low mileage ? lol .. Our fuel tank - 15L , 30km Per Liter. You can ride from singapore to KL without topping up fuel =) just rubbish here.. Explain your low mileage =)

Bad bike - hmm .. ask around in forum , 99% wont tell you is a bad bike ~~~~

As for servicing , When you bought the bike , go down to kakit bukit and you will get the answer .. Action from them is always much better than our words

i would say its not really a good bike for first timer, mainly because its heavy and bigger than most 2b bikes. thus, u may drop it afew times especially if ur "short". other than that its really good as a solo bike. very comfortable and stable(at high speeds)

:)

That's what I like about you guys! XD

I heard it from a fellow mate who had some season rider friends who said those stuff. He told me his friend is going to be a bike instructor soon after ORD either way.

So I like to know more since I wonder.. "cannot be! CKA had 3 shops and all, even installment can pay on AXN machine. Cannot be small fry."

So wanna get my facts right since the price for a new roadwin 125R FI was quoted @ 9K+++ after this.. errr... some insurance rebate and and insurance and all. Which is the price Im looking at with some other bikes.

Budget wise kinda.. Boo! HA! Cause I can only do small down payment.

I tried it last week and the weight is really hefty. Guess I was still too used to street bike since sport bike need to hunch a little more to the front :)

But still can manage :)

Anyway, is it that sport bike (per se dealim 125R FI) is a little stiff on low speed turning? Since the movement action is a little small and restricted?

give yourself sometime to get use to the bike. and you wont wobble so much.

i think you have to look straight instead of looking down(im assuming your looking down at ur tires) coz thats wad the bike instructors taught us

PS: i forgot to mention, u probably need to learn counter-weight steering for U-turns because bike is abit on the heavy side :)

Posted

i meant when i move off (traffic light n such) i tend to wobble abit, i look far far infront also will wobble tsk tsk.. *avoiding u-turn for the time being* get used to it first
