Hi there, I would like to enquire that I just took over a secondhand 2010 ST200. However after a few days of riding and I felt that the engine sounded very rough. I went back to the bike shop for checks and was told that the transmission is creating the noise and need to replace the whole clutch and belting. I was coded 340 for the overall repair, is it reasonable?

it is still ok but it depends on what brand the clutch is for replacement... haha but it's fine as long as the problem is solved bro... let me know if i can be of any assistance.

Hi guys recently changed to polini speed control and experiencing high rev and no power.. Got a feeling that the rollers that came with it is too light. Any recommendations on what weight of rollers to use for distance? Begining to regret changing to speed control, feels like the stock variator is "nicer"

Really keen on upgrading my braking system for my st200.. Any advise on what to get? Oversized disc, 4pot caliper and etc..? Appreciate ur inputs.. :)

Hi , just to check on FC issue, I'm averaging around 240km for 8L+ of petrol (when light just lit on). Is this a normal range ? Riding is 60HW/40minor rd fairly light throttle and smooth riding without pillion.

that's good FC. I can only manage 200 before the light comes on. Maybe too throttle happy. :(

Slighty better then avg if taking your FC into consideration....

Guess that's that best I can manage. The torque when moving off seems a little too harsh for me, crackling noise can be heard when bike is coming to a stop at times.

try heavier set of rollers like probably 14.g that will allow you to rev later and lower.

umm... hopefully some directions on where to start i guess? though i've been riding for 3 years now, i've never done any cosmetic mods before. should i go with a sticker or spray paint finish for the bike? i'm thinking sticker would be better for my case?

always have the impression that spray or powdercoat is for metal surfaces... the runner feels/looks more plastic-ky to me. haha. and what kind of hand guards will fit? any?

oh ya i have another question. last time my bike could not start even after charging the battery. towed it to ah khoon, lengkok bahru. he told me CDI spoilt after checking and he replace with some racing CDI (forgot the brand). charged me $570 if i remember correctly.

recently, water pump turbine broke, i dont know why. another shop charged me $350 to replace it. are these prices reasonable? or was i too stupid...

Hi what psi should I put for gilera st200 tyre and how to know that the belt is in a good condition?

26psi -frt

29psi - rr

30psi - rr (with pillion)

Should be this figure if I'm not wrong.

Need to dismantle the engine cover and check the belt.

Please no one is stupid, if I am right the CDI you mention should be MALOSSI CDI. cost about $300 ++

Water pump est. cost from $180 onwards

I would advise you to go for painting than decal sticker as painting last longer.
