Don buy this bike if ur budget is super tight. . it might vary for differ ppl. . for mi. . i got my RST tis year mid aug. . i pass my licence less than 1 mth. . so insurance sure super ex. . bike price quoted by asphoon(serangoon) without insurance is 7900. . . road tax,box,IU. . bla bla bla. . . everyhing in. . .servicing wise. . if ya bike pro. . can do ur own oil change belt change. . but off cos chain bikes r easier than belt bikes. . so do consider well enough. . anw FYI. . scooter full package service is ard 180~220 range. . power of the bike is there. . nice pickup(after running in). . but poor cornering. . if u don mind a wave or sparks winning u in cornering. . this is the bike. . . PS:RST is having super small tyres for its weight n size. . so if high speed. . tend to skid a bit if road unbalance. . Hope my info helped. .

WAIT TILL YOU SEE WHAT OTHERS CAN DO WITH THIS ITALIAN BEAST THEN YOU WILL REALISE HOW LONG U R ON THIS POINT! wave/sparks cornering? i think anytime anywhere any of d senior riders in this forum can beat them at corners..

change ur rear suspension.. maybe, yss with bottle 1, tat'll be good enuff. get a fork brace and maybe lower ur front fork and u are good to go, bike wise .. and make sure u haf a good set of tyres.

 

but then again, saw a stock runner outconner a moded 1 before, at tuas track.. so basically its more on the rider ..

Any gd rider given the right machine can do anything with it..... its juz a matter of where the rider's limit is.....

 

I rode both bikes before n both have their own uniqueness quality at cornering.... niwae safety first n happy riding

consuming more oil??? EO lubricant or do u mean petrol???

 

If its consuming ur EO oils or gear oil or watsoever other oil, theres a prob n u need to go to get it service....

 

but if its ur petrol consumption, then there are lot of possibilites...... even ur tire pressure or a change in ur throttling stlye, can contribute to lower FC. But if its not those then maybe an old spark plug, dirty air filter or etc....

For air filter u can always DIY, juz unscrew the airbox situated on the left side of the rear swingarm. Remove it wash it with a air filter cleaner solvent, dry it, put some oil on it, place it back into the airbox, close it up..... there its done

hey been busy with the comex show, anw, thanks for the info alienalien. how often do you need to do a full servicing? 7300 otr with insurance and everything? as i mentioned earlier, i really really like gilera, pract 7 already, so need to plan everything out nicely. thanks in advance
