Real or fake?

Im new to riding, and just wanted to ask about this particular jacket Im planning to purchase over ebay.

Just wanted to ask any gear experts could lend me a hand and help me identify if this jacket is legitimate,

or a clone.

My experience - dun buy as long as it's not new. Some ads will say their conditions are "as good as new", but dun anyhow believe. You can't tell the condition using only photos until you are physically holding the jacket.

 

Even new also must be careful. Checking on the age, storage conditions, etc are some factors you should considered.

You need to try on the jacket for fitment, so I suggest going to a local shop to try. Jackets need to fit snugly so that they won't ride up your body in a crash, but should not be too tight. You can only get the right size by actually wearing it before buying.

 

Motoworld sells wide range of Komine and RS Taichi jackets starting from around $150 (and $110 for old models), which is the same price as online places.
