hey guys, i need to know, what reasons for appeal can be used? i got fined $120 by sembcorp for parking at my void deck. both my carparks were filled up, even the small spaces at the sides.

park at double yellow line instead of slots cos no slot except 4th storey and above. kena fined $25 two times. first waived, second one never.

 

Did you buy season parking? If yes, I think can be a valid reason. If always full, take picture and send to them. Coz without facts, cannot win easily leh.

got it even with season parking, first time waived, second kena.

and the most irritating is only mine kena, cos my brother park on the other side didnt get it.

sometimes its when u're out somewhere, not at ur home... too lazy to find a parking lot.. plus maybe too stingy to use a coupon...

 

for me, its usually too lazy/troublesome to find/walk to the nearest parking lot... eg when going to those places that dont allow bike in or if in neighbourhood area, the MCP is not so near to the block i'm going to.

my advise dun ever get involved wif the "void deck unit"i mean town council..once they caught u,it's not ur bike number is taken into their list,it's ur Nric number,even if u change bike or parking at another Void deck that is not under their area,it's still a consolidate offence.

 

1st timer = $100 or warning

 

2nd timer = $200

 

3rd timer = $400

 

4th timer = $1000 (i am here):cry:

Got one summon a few years back.

My first time lor :( somemore it was raining

Threw in all the reasons and appealed but unsucessful...

 

Got another time park my car at loading bay to rush home use toilet.

Come out from toilet, look out from the window, saw the summon man! :faint:

Rushed down, and he left le

Those a.h. replied saying that is loading/unloading bay, only for loading/unloading!

Who doesn't know? Residential area leh, cannot unload sai ah???:angry: :angry: :angry:

 

Think it sometimes depends on the as.hos in the town council

perhaps they dont like the way you plead with them, or perhaps your side too strict.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

aiyar, u already know it's loading/unloading bay, then u go park there sure got risk lah...! kena summon liao curse n swear n go call ppl names, got use meh? who's fault? summore u near home d, why not just park at proper place and go home pang sai until u song song...

I think I've paid a hefty sum of money ever since I started riding. Bloody arsehole from town council damn free to keep coming my block just to spy my bike's parking position.

 

Used to park on the pavement next to the parking lots for bike for years without encountering problems until they employed some dog for the government and this particular low-life just keep targeting me even when I have not caused any obstruction or hazard to other residents.

 

Luckily every fine is $75 fixed.... Think I've paid slightly less than 20 tickets already... :sian:

im sure you're not the only one who kena this kind of nonsense..... my house here also got......

 

Night supposed to be for season parking only. end up got 1 night a lot of m'sian bikes park.........so i bo pian park at dbl yellow line.

 

next morning ALL kena.... m'sians pay $8 while Singaporean (me) pays much much more cos i on the dbl yellow line (even though i had valid season parking) :sian:

Can i know if there is anyway i can try to appeal or get them to reduce the amount ? And how much is e amount i will be fined ? It's my first time and 5 other motors arnd e area also kena. Can anione help mi ? Thz alot !

the fine about 75-100. u can appeal to ur town council, but better think up of a good excuse. sometime they counter offer u to get season instead of fine.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

Fined so many times and you still choose to park illegally?

 

I became very timid after my first $70 fine. That can already pay a few years of my (non-season) parking... so why risk it?

Problem is when sometimes it's raining heavily and you just conveniently dash into the void deck as you don't have to worry about helmet getting wet and stuff...

 

Conveniently forget to shift the bike before slping so next day wakes up you'll be very awake to see a fine on the bike from the town council... :lol:

my place here i see this ksr park on pavement every night also never tio summon.

before that, he park in parking lot, his bike kena toppled. so suay.

now park pavement i never see it topple.

no need to appeal lar.. they give no changes,,

i write in a nice nice story oso no use..

 

that time i oso kanna void deck... fined $100, i write in appeal, discount / dropped to $60 i appeal again same...

 

then i dulan i go see M.P get them help me to write in..

 

ending WARNING and wavied off the fines
