I saw an orange Avante on the PIE last night. With 4 exhaust pipes. And a spoiler. With a sportscar driving style. Obviously tailgating very closely and having fun with a few other cars, amongst them a white Honda Jazz/fit. Almost crashing into me, another cab and a few other cars and bikes. Wow... a spectacular sight. Fortunately, all near misses only. Let's hope they don't learn their lesson the hard way.

In my opinion, ever car is uniquely it's own. Regardless it's a Hyundai Avante or a Suzuki Swift. Forcefully trying to make it look like something else and worse still drive like something else is not going to make it something else. It makes the driver look like a fool when the real thing pulls up alongside at the junction.

Please take note that there may be an issue pertaining to infringement of advertising rights here. You may want to to talk to Andy if you want to advertise here.

Nonetheless, I think you also need to educate the potential customers that the specific part numbers must be sourced in order to fit into the designated cars. Otherwise, warranties may be compromised. This is the online catalogue for Brisk USA. Not all car models are covered by the aftermarket program under BRISK.

Otherwise, customers can contact [email protected] for verification. Do remember to state your vehicle KTYP number if you know it. If not, state the year of 'purchase' (purchase year may not equate the year of vehicle introduction), your engine code if you know it and your horsepower either in HP or kW is fine.

Sorry Shirobai, seen too many people rushing into 'upgrades'/'modifications' without checking for part availability and ending up in some troubles. Just came across one person who fitted a BOV to her car which led to the malfunction of her turbocharger. After some checking, the BOV may not be designated for her car. I think you gotta explain in further detail to the people if you want to sell. But firstly, your advertising rights may be in question.

Too many of such cars ard.. Lots of Lancer trying to be Evo,lots of Civic trying to be Type R,lots of Impreza trying to be WRX,lots of BMW trying to be M3/M5/M6.. But those car at least still fall within the same make so not so bad.. We haven't touched on those with emblem of other make.. Haha

my trajet is still survivng after 5 years of torture

Is the trajet on timing chain or belt? Avante is one i would consider becos timing chain saves quite abit on servincing belts. I dont drive aggressive, so chain is perfect for me.

belt ba, i very long nv open that bonnet liao so abit forgot :cheeky:

amazing thing is all the pumps, belts, air-con, electrical are still working after the years which i cannot be bothered with.

Maintenance is practically low for not so fussy ppl as compared to my other drive which i need to spend like few k per year to maintain it

That's good to hear, i heard Koreans purposely over-engineered their cars now to beat the Japanese market. So now its a good time to get some reliable korean cars leh.

well if you dun have a soft spot for euro & jap badge, korea cars are actually not so bad as imagine. Comparing with its price and the stuff you get is quite decent.

At least i don't need to pay for the badge $ :cheeky:
