nah don use WD40, just use water

yeap, a MUST have item to monitor ure voltage to ensure rectifier is charging.

According to mechanic, one of the causes is the wiring. :faint:

rectifier was not charging...coil had burnt smell. a 10,000km spoilt coil was in a better condition than mine:(

the damage was $6**.00:cry:

The damage to the pocket is hardcore man...but the positive thing is at least it happened and fixed in Singapore, if not it will cost even more.

Time to fix the voltmeter, ya? :)

I am using the Dynamyx voltmeter for about 1 year already. There is just a wire running from the battery, but you need to remove the tank and the side panel to run the wire to the dash/speedo.

Hi guys, newbie here,

Need your recommendation,

Today its my first ride up with my wife to melaka.

Experience some bad body movement (guess due to the speed)travellling between 130 - 150?

1. Is it suppose to be like that?

How do i counter this problem in future?

Is it true by having a bit longer front shield will help less body movement?

2. Secondly i tried to ride above 150km/hr but having problem pushing the bike further above 160?( Just finish running in)

3. Notice that most rider when travelling up to malaysia would wear a jacket/motor suit?

Is it necessary? and what benefit could it have?

Thinking of riding up again soon? Would appreaciate your valuable advise and experience..

nah if pulled tight enough it will stay under the tank

but of course routing the wire further inside will be better

my method is for more lazy pple like me hahha
