guys, lately my fazer gen1 suddenly engine will cut off giving me a hard engine brake.. any1 know wats wrg wif it?

 

usually happen when gear 1 goin up to gear 2. sometimes gear 3.

also sometimes while riding, my bike seems to hav no power, its lik petrol goin to finish (note: i stil hav more den half tank) feeling, den suddenly e power came back.

 

any1 able to identify it?

few factors actually:

 

battery

spark plugs fouled already

valve problem

air filter full of carbon

rectifier malfunction.

 

might be one of the above mention. best to take to specialised mecahanic.

hello guys here... wondering if ani 1 of ur have come across a veri small sized voltmeter.. i saw it on a bike a few days ago.. nt too sure wat bike izzit, bt e volt meter is realli veri veri small..

 

its even small than e Dynamyx voltmeter which is sold out there..

I've thought of getting a digital compass for the bike.

Train Ride is to save $$$ on petrol and hotel stay, plus we do not wish to go the same route on the way back. The train is not exactly comfortable as there is no shower facilities so we slept with our touring gears....

 

After some jam (road blocked for the Thai King) and delays, finally reached Tak

 

hai all, just want to share my experiences in train ride from hatyai train station.......... it is expensive n very time consuming.... cost us 3000baht and 16 hrs for us to reach bangkok..... then have to push the bike till out of train station at bangkok........ bengkok after pushing the bike in bangkok..

after the train experience we rode down from bangkok to hatyai..... petrol 2000baht.... time 10hrs.......

get it serviced asap.

I reckon that you guys rode 10 hours straight without bunking in a hotel. If that is the case, train ride will not be a economical choice. In my case, we rode to Hatyai from Singapore thru the night so we have no choice (we haven't slept for whole night) but to use the train ride to recuperate (although we know that it will take longer to cover the planned distance via train) cos we will definitely book a hotel along the way if we do not take the train, which we calculated that it'll cost more than taking the train route.

 

So, if you are riding straight up from Hatyai to Bangkok without putting up at a hotel in between, riding up may be a cheaper option.
