Hi guys, care to share which brake pad is reasonable n good?.. I know ebc best but ex.. Sbs no sinter type only left ceramic type.. Is wp or fizz brake pad good?.. Anyone tried before??.. Or any good shops to recommend??

 

i guess higher end ones like ebc and braking are good.. otherwise i would choose ferodo, goldfren. basically these brands not much diff to me, all those $28 ones.

I'm riding a 07 FZ6 and she's getting older each day. She's been serving faithfully without fail or the past 4yrs. I intend to order a pc3 thru The net for her. However, I need to get a mapping for the pc3.

 

So, anyone has any mapping to share? I'm having the basic setup,

i think same is impossible.. your Y pipe is DIY leh!!! wow! even similar setup wont be easy to find.. at most yoshimura and k&n filter mod.. i think airbox not too many pple do for fz6..

I bought mine from ebay. It is more expensive as it is through the distribultor located in UK. Search for fuel cut eliminator in ebay and you should be able to get it. Thanks.

hey guys.. ive already use 3 set of tyres during my ride on fz1s what the best recommended tyre yet performance and longer wear and tear tyre.. any tips on these? and now hand itchy need to upgrade abit on the performance.. my fz1s is totally stock.. whats the best thing to change and so on 'like what pipe should i change?, what are the engine parts i need to change.. help me guys! appreaciated on helping me on these..

what are the 3 tyres you have used so far and what's your feedback on them? for tyres, remember:

1) grip (wet/dry)

2) lasting or not

3) price

these 3 nv go hand in hand. you can only have 2 or the 3. maybe even 1 of the 3 only. which is/are your priority? i choose 1 and 3 first, then try to squeeze as much of 2 as possible.

 

for modifications, the best is when you know what you want.

1a) torque/accel?

1b) top?

1c) smooth delivery?

2a) braking?

2b) suspension/control?

3) cosmetic?

 

for me, i make sure 2) is good before i consider moving to 1). cosmetics, maybe sprinkle some along the way, definitely not my priority.

 

i hope this helped you sort out your thoughts before asking a more detailed question so that the more exp riders here can help you.

If you have $1k with you now, go change a slipon.

My LV GP Pro $900 (cheap cheap good good)

The extra $100 you can spend on de-catalyst & LTA inspection. or also may be another $5 for the AIS block

 

If you have another $1k, may be spend on cosmetics, belly-pan, air-scoop, wind shield etc.

do a power commander also take place if u change the slip on? i heard some fazer rider ask me to do a valve clearance.. what is that? so grounding wires work well too?
