Hi guys, ytd had been a very sad day for me. I accidentally drop my bike 2006 Fazer 600. The headlight and front fairing is scratched and damage. Where should i send my bike for repair? any recommendations? anyone have any ideal how much will it be to replace the headlight cover and front fairing?

Anybody encounter problem starting your FZ1 in the morning or under cold condition?

 

I am facing this problem, must crank for at least 10 times to start the bike... what repair needs to be done? whats the dmg?

Got voltmeter? What's the V when u turn on the ignition? 12.4 to 12.8 is ideal. Anything below tt means yr batt is down on charge. Once running u shd see 13.x idling and 14.2 to 14.3 when on throttle.

 

If it's not the batt then it could be anything else from yr FA mixture, plugs, ignition coils, fuel line, etc. Troubleshoot from small to big. Start w yr batt V, then yr idle screw (turn it to vary the idling speed

one piece of advice.

 

Also check yr headlight stay, ie the bracket that extends out front from yr frame and holds the head fairing. Knocks or drops can bend it out of alignment.

Hi guys, wanna ask if anyone of you modified your bike by removing the airbox? My guess that it's on the "dark side" of vicom? Hahaha.. Any advise of where to do it?

 

 

Vicom won't be able to detect it. They won't lift yr tank at inspection.

Mine's modded the same way too. Add to that a K&N filter and yr bike just breathes better!

 

You can DIY. Just lift the tank, remove the airbox and use a small hacksaw to cut. Else bring to yr workshop and let 'em do it. Simple job.

Try changing your EO to something thinner. It might help in the cold weathers.

for dry roads, u wan to use any botak tires or ah boy's IRC tires also can.. lol..
