i think wat he mean is he is pending his status...once his attendance is confirmed he will also remove his top box. because all standardise no Top box.

gentlemen, i would like to ask if FZ1 is pillion friendly? cos the way the pillion foot rest look, its sportbike style. can any kind soul clear my doubt? thanx in advance.... :smile:

No complaints so far for Gen 2.

But the Gen 1 is more comfy for pillions anytime.

 

You should try the R1. Pillion like squatting....

If you have the workshop manual, there's a page 3-36 and 3-37 which shows you how to align the beam.

 

OK....basically....

 

Your headlights are like (imagine you're seated on the bike and are looking at the back of the lights.... wiring etc)

 

*O O*

 

* = pole light

O = main beam

 

From the dashboard view.... look at the main headlights. There are screws at these position.

 

.O O.

 

. = screw

O = headlights

 

Counter-clockwise = headlights raise

Clockwise = headlights lowered

 

 

 

You can even align it left and right.

Same view... headlights from the Dashboard.

 

O' 'O

 

' = screw

O = headlights

 

This one is diff. If you turn the screw towards the center (ie left side clockwise, right side counter), headlight aligns left

 

Turn it outwards (ie left side counterclockwise, right side clockwise), headlight aligns right.

considering on the gen2. if squatting, pillion will kill me... :D so for gen2, sitting posture same as S4?

usually when sitting on the bike. you light will shine behind a car rear boot just below the rear windshield 10m away. :thumb:

 

but for your case, u are not so light. :angel: so you will make it shoot skyward.

like willy say, jack the rear stiffer. or i say: lose weight. :cheeky:

hi

 

i need some help on my bike. i have been topping up coolant like every few weeks to a month.

 

i would have to top up more often if i ride more during the day.

i dont see any leak or water at the carpark in the morning.

 

any advise on this or is it normal for a FZ1?

currently i just topping up with the normal shell coolant no water added.

 

would changing to coolant from brands like maxima or ows help?

 

one more thing is to check your radiator cap, maybe the o ring has worn off. change the cap.
