infact there is no need to remove the main stand either...u just have to control the mainstand when u r off the stand..slowly,then u will not have the problem of hitting the exhaust,i will show u when i am back from phuket.

yeah thats what i thought also, but thinking that may encounter road bumps or pot holes on the road, afraid that the main stand will hit exhaust when going over bumps etc..

yeah will catch up with you when you are back from phuket, i still owe u a kopi for ur lobang :cheeky:

the best is to book an appointment, but there are some riders who just walk in. so it depends on luck also

i had removed my main stand till i found a solution to it, previous owner no issue as his fz1n has no main stand....

now i worry is that the fz1n and fz1s exhaust configuration is different in terms of the rubber stopper for main stand or maybe some slight dimension difference

1) fz1s has main stand fz1n do not have

2) i realised that there is not even 1 finger spacing between the end can and the swing arm..

Yeah. What Ah Beng said.

When you get your bike off main stand, do you just push on both sides of the handlebar and let the bike jump off the stand, causing it to smack up?

Don't do that.

The proper way to get the bike off the mainstand would be to STAND on the mainstand footing, left hand on the left handlebar grip, right hand on the pillion grip. Stand up on one foot, then lever the bike left/forwards and control the descent.

Then you can gently let the mainstand up. It will not smack against the underside of the bike.

after doing this the exhaust is actually touching he end can.

what i worry is when travelling on bumpy roads, the main stand will spring up and down to hit against the end can .. after along time, i believe there will be a indent mark on the end can

call for appointment.. was told da next available date is on 16 Oct. so long nid to wait. juz havin thought of sendin to other bikeshop. will it affect da warranty?

the guy told me that it will affect the warrenty,

by right our bikes only has 6 mths warrenty, and if we carry on our servcing for 3 times with HLC, the warrenty will extend another 6 mths which makes ur bike warrenty for 1 year
