Seems like its vibrating too much....I recommend getting heavy side mirrors so it doesnt vibrate...

well i think the main issue is the mirror quality itself is sucky. u know those kinda poor mirrors where 'what you see is not what u get'? my stock mirrors do vibrate but things aint that blurry.

anyway, Blackenese, i saw u at the s'pore bike fest escort convoy. heh.

what s the shape of yr mirrors? (not the mirror arms) I suppose cruiser itself is pretty bumpy when it s running so the vibration is unavoidable. Do they vibrate alot that u cant see anything? Mine was ok except for the screws attaching the arm n the mirror, it rust after a session of rain. Seriously, I put up the mirror for cosmetic purposes. It did not serve up to the sole purpose cos mine was pretty small and I m using too much time to figure out what s reflected from my blind spot. I d turn my head for christ sake though I seriously dun wana see him.

Vibration on the mirrors are very common but again it all depends on the quality of the mirrors itself...Some say that if the mirrors are solid and heavy, then vibration will be minimal...As for me, if it can give you a view of the rear and at least provide a view of the oncoming vehicles, it's still okay...Turning to check your blindspots is definitely a must even if you've got great mirrors that don't vibrate coz it's the best safety precaution...Cheers...

the shape is a like a leaf. sharp at the end. 5" x 2". vibration is bad indeed. its hard to see anything behind u. and when night comes, things get worse. it just serve the cosmetic purpose thats all. not very good for safety. i believe its important that u can see your rear well especially if u wanna change lanes fast in a fast moving, moderately congested traffic.

well i feel like getting good mirrors made at those fabrication shops.

Mirrors are very important fo safety.

Mine are oval shape from the previous owners. I just got used to it.

The vibration at high speed indeed makes the mirror images blurred.

But at night still ok, bcoz all the headlights from the vehicles behind tells me what vehicles are coming near me.

I am a Honda bike lover:-

YES. mirrors are not just for cosmetic purposes.

though it would be nice to have cool looking ones but I've noticed how some shops sell ridiculously small mirrors.

I'm one of those that have delibrately fitted huge, rounds mirrors on my dirtbike.

as for my shadow, sticking to the stock mirrors though it's inches away from side mirrors from cars during heavy traffic.

dun think have a relatively "good" size mirror will spoil much of the bike's outlook. after all,

turning our head and glancing from the mirror can be a split scond's difference from kissing some car's rear end. ;)

As claimed, There's a need to drive when we have a Family. But all that is needed to ride is Dream... Many are still dreaming about it.
