abt 1 mth ago i went to serangoon area to look for old bike .cg is the 1 im finding.

Heng man. I was looking for a CG125. and happened to see a nice condition old school CG125. with 64K mileage. But the license plate was removed. so won't know what plate is that.

 

Was thinking of going down one of these days to check out.

Yeah i went last week to view a GSXR4 on behalf of a friend... cos a friend of a friend left it there for repairs....

When ask for the engine he close his eyes and look away.... and say.... ENGINE GONE CASE ALREADY LA CONROD PISTON ALL BROKEN...

 

So i say ok, can i see the engine.... he closed his eyes again and looked away again and said... NO LA DONO PUT WHERE LA SPOIL ALREADY NO NEED TO SEE YOU DONT DISTURB LA....

 

Lum pah!! I told him, where got see bike never see engine.... then he started to scold loudly and i just walked away.... leaving him ranting and raging in his shop.

 

My guess is he already keep the spare parts to resell then want to charge the fellow for the complete overhaul of the engine... SHCWIIIINGGGGG.... CHop!!!

Aiyoh.... really big mistake sia. Does your friend know about the negative reputation of the shop? Of all shops, why that shop le? Confirm GG liao.

 

Would love to know how much the shop charges your friend for the repairs. Hope you can get back to the forum with the amount.

wahahahaha similar incident happened to my rd350lc before too, but when she was under the previous owner

 

i suggest the fellow better just tow away the frame and whatever parts he can still get to another shop, better to just cut the losses ba...

 

 

steven is a funny guy, we should buy some coe coming cheap bike, hang a p-plate on it and get some newbie looking fellow to bring it to yuh loong, then follow him with a spy cam... the results will be :clap:

Was parking my bike at wrk today, looked at the mud guard of the bike in front of me (my colleague) bike and saw the yun loong sticker... Immediately thought of this thread, hence the post...

There used to be 3 along that row of shop houses. 1st one near the aquarium (can't remember the name), 2nd one is yuh loong, last was chai fatt. Chai Fatt moved, so there's only 2 bike shops there now.

just went there last week!

knew of the bad reputation of the shop, but just went ahead and see what they can offer me for my punctured tires, since they are near my place.

 

The old mechanic went to look for the tubes and only re-surfaced half an hour later with a "sorry but we don't have your size."

 

so without any remedy, i decided to call for tow and call to my usual workshop instead.

 

steven turned up at this moment and signal to me to go over, so i went over.

 

Steven :" $45 ai mai for the tube?"

 

I was like, nnb, LAB sell $14 to $18 you want see $45???

 

I told him nvm , i rather tow to my workshop and let the tow and my bikeshop earn...

after that he start criticizing my ride...

 

lol, i just love seeing him make a fool of himself, it made my day although he wasted a lot of my time! LOL

that shop totally chui! the boss keep psychoing me to change fairing, and even say won't charge me for the fairing, jus pay for the work.

 

ok the fairing job process was slow and the uncle took long time to put on the fairing and made my heart race watching him, it looked damm chio at the end of the job in the end but...

 

the fairing actually don fit nicely and had mismatch at the headlight, in the end they fixed it by drilling screws into the fairing LOL!!

yes shop is still alilve, lucky i have SBF... hehe...or else i will be chopped, cause one day i tried to go there asking if there's motul 800(premix) he say dont have, so ok lah, when i wanted to walk away he said, "eh u dont want mobil uh, better than motul eh" ... in my head, knnbcb, how can mobil be better... if mobil 2t is better..... then i think cubprix all use mobil "premix" haha!

i started this thread almost 8 years ago when i was riding RVF that time and went to this shop.

went one time and nvr visited this shop again.

was surprised this shop can survive until now.

Was just reminiscing my biking days. Thought i'd come here and remind everyone to give a middle finger to the cbkia steven who forever cheat people one.when i was a noob, he gave me an "in tank race booster" for $500.
