Hello fellas I'm doing a research with a couple of my friends & I need help to convert data from VHSC tapes to either VCD or DVD formats.

As u guys know, VHS is the medium before LDs.

VHSCs however is the smaller version use for camcorders.

This is the link:

Anyone can guide me regarding this?

I went to a shop somewhere at Lucky P*aza & the fella quoted me $470 for the process which I don't believe it to be that ex! I could be wrong though but just hoping to find some help in here.

Can this thing be played using a normal VHS player using a VHS-C adapter?

If so, check out Sim Lim Square.

There's a shop in the back rows (think its 5th or 6th floor) that can do a conversion from VHS to DVD.

My wife did a similar conversion for her company's product promotional video which was on VHS to DVD with that shop.

Costs in the tens of dollars per copy.

$470 is a con-job.

I would imagine the process to be similar to just digitizing the VHS-C tape to the computer and making a DVD. Simple process but you'll need the appropriate analog-to-DV converter if you want to do it yourself. VHS-C format obsolete and I'll doubt you would want to spend time searching around for the hardware so think you should go with WildCard's suggestion.

Quick search on google came out with this link. Shop is at Sengkang area. Not sure about the rate though.

:)

Current Rides:

FEB 07 -> NOV 08 [CBR 150]

AUG 08 -> AUG 12 [XJR400]

AUG 12 -> ??? [DUCATI MONSTER 696]
